I'm stumped in finding an old book I read around 1990-91. It involved a neo-nazi gang who kidnapped a guy who was a werewolf and they wanted his DNA to create hybred soliders. The story involves progressive flash forwards from the time of christ and has the main charecter unable to end his life due to his immortality. The curse is the result of his betrayal of the Magi who came to Jesus's birth and the end of the story is a priest in the far future trying to escape the curse by leaving earth only to go to a plant with multiple moons. Can anyone tell me the name of this book?

This book was loaned to me while I baked in the Saudi Arabian desert in the 1st Gulf War. It reminded me of the first 'Highlander' movie with the flash-back episodes of a person who was immortial. I always tell my son that it would make a great movie and I'd like him to read it, but for the life of me I cannot find this book!!!!

The story has even better twists. As he is being worked on by the neo-nazi's a female with them is also a werewolf (unknown to the neo-nazi) who he bit and infected hundreds of years ago. You see according to the rules were-wolves only bite a 'cursed' person once to infect them, otherwise they simply kill you. The 'curse' is a guilt they carry from betraying someone. The werewolves even in human form see this mark on your forehead (which is invisable to everyone else) ANYWAY...The main charecter (and the woman) are placed in several historical settings. The birth of christ is one but then again at the crucifixtion and another where Merlin walls them up together in a castle for a hundred years. I could have sworn this book was called 'mark of the beast' or something similar

The book is WerewolveSS by Jerry and Sharon Ahern.

No it isn't. That is my favourite werewolf book and I know it inside out. There are no ‘curses’ in there. Perhaps you have been fooled by the prevalence of Nazi werewolves in the description above.

This does not sound like the book I read. The setting is not WWII,the ones i'm refering to are neo-nazis "skinheads" types. They find him hiding with gypsys in a circus who make sure he's restrained at a full moon. Whats different about this story is that the guy is truely cursed with immortality. He cannot die by ANY means. In fact his prime motivation is to lift the curse so he can commit suicide. At first they can't even get at his blood because a needle can't penetrate his skin. Eventually they get it from his saliva.

Yeah, like I said, the book you mentioned didn’t sound anything like WerewolveSS. JL_Benet has it wrong. I’ve tried Googling your various plot summaries but can’t find anything. Oh dear.

If it's not WerewolveSS, the next logical guess for me would be Mark of the Werewolf by Jeffrey Sackett. With your added info about the gypsies, that actually sounds like it's a better fit for what you're describing.

And people said getting a Master's in werewolves would never come in handy. :beerchug:
