I use a 4GB Sansa (the e260 - which I picked up for a measly $35) and my phone (an LG Incite) to play music mostly.

I personally dont like using my phone for music, I dont know why, it all just seems..unintuitive, as its using a phone's layout.

Maybe there is good music phones that I havent tried yet but I prefer a dedicated music player.

Well it's a touchscreen smartphone, so it's not much different than using something like say an iPhone for music. Without many capacity issues anymore, I think it doesn't make sense to carry around a phone AND a media player.

An eight GB iPod Touch.
My phone isn't fancy, but it could do music if I felt like paying a ridiculous price for a card that fits, plus everything else. That, and I barely use my phone.

Just a 2gig RCA player that I hardly ever touch anymore cause I can never seem to keep the thing to myself. That and I have taken a re-liking to CD Players for some unexplainable reason.

I don't much like phones quality for playback on music. Maybe it's the phones I've heard so far, but they just don't have that good of quality to me. I haven't heard the iPhone yet, so I can't say for certain they are ALL like that. So meh

I have a 30-gig Creative Zen Vision:M player. Bought it when my CD player was slowly dying a painful skip-on-every-CD death. My walkman still works like a charm, but it's really bulky now compared to the mp3 player, so I don't use it so much.

ZEN's are awesome.
Creative make some really good stuff.

But im upgrading to the archos because it has superior video playback over the creative.

I used to have two 4Gb first generation I-pod mini's, but neither lasted for more than a few months due to crappy components. After those, I switched to a 30Gb Zune. I've had that for about two years now, and no problems. I am going to upgrade the hard drive to an 80 gig, as I'm running out of room (just music). It's a great little thing, and it's survived many a work day.
