It's that time of the year again, ghouls and goblins! What are your plans for Halloween?

Near the beginning of the month Chris and I went to a corn maze, and just a couple of weeks ago went to SpookyWorld (http://www.spookyworld.com/). Lots of fun!

Throughout the month we've been watching movies to get us into the Halloween spirit. I highly recommend Trick 'r Treat to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Tonight we're carving pumpkins and roasting pumpkin seeds, and on Sunday we're going to provide plenty of candy for trick or treaters and watch some more scary movies.

Boo!

I had a mind to do some haunted houses, corn mazes and go the Ohio Ren Festival.

Yep, between a lack of money and no one to go with, all those plans were pretty much shot.

I guess my fall-esque plans involve a goal of trying as many different types of winter squash as possible. So far I've eaten the Acorn, Butternut, and Spaghetti. I've got a Hubbard, Carnival, Buttercup and some Delicata in storage and am waiting for a good time to break them open.

So not exactly a "Halloween Night" kind of thing, but definitely in-season.

Gonna hand out Halloween candy with my mother and her friends, and we (meaning they) shall drink wine and be merry.

Edit:

besides that, I made a cd mix full of Halloween music for my mother and my aunts. We decorated a bit, and bought tons of little pumpkins. Dunno what to do with the two large ones...

SpookyWorld sounds like a high-budget version of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b8NINODDlg) :D

As for me, I'm actually dressed up now since I can't go out tomorrow night - early lectures and all. My flatmates are going to do it anyway, but they're young enough that they don't need a few days to recover from a hangover, unlike old git me.

I went barhopping dressed in a panda hat for like 7 hours and then ate some taco bell. Tomorrow is recovery day.

Halloween- I was intending to do what I do every Halloween go have a picnic in a grave yard. Plans fell through. 1. because a friends boyfriend left them. 2. I was mandated to be social and go to a Halloween party.

Upside- My friend who was distraught is now fine, and the host of the Halloween bash got engaged. I then decided to have my picnic on November 1rst, which was better because it was warmer and the grass was less wet.

We (me and my none living guest) had avocado and goat cheese sandwiches with raw red bell pepper. With Spiced apple juice and for desert pumpkin pie pudding.

It was a lot of fun--I enjoyed the food greatly and I am wondering what I should make next year.
