Home Computer: OpenSUSe 11.1 Linux operating system on a Dell Dimension E310 with a 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium IV processor. I've got 2 GB of RAM and an Nvidia graphics card.
PS3: Either I'm on the PS3 operating system or it is also equipped with OpenSUSe 11.1 having recently been switched from Yellow Dog Linux 6.1.
I'm currently in the process of ordering parts for constructing my own computer from scratch. So far I have an ASUS motherboard with a 3.2 GHz Pentium IV processor. I will more than likely max out the RAM at 4 GB.
So what's under your hood? And what is your favorite operating system? (Please no flaming outbursts regarding a person's particular love for an operating system).
My favorite is Linux because of it's flexibility and security.

Most of my time's spent on a laptop, 1.5 GHz Core2Duo, nVidia 8600M GT graphics card, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 60 gigabyte hard drive, running Win7 x64 RC. Also have access to a desktop on Win7 x64 beta running a 2.6 Ghz Core2Duo, nVidia 8800 GS, 3 gigabytes RAM, 120 gigabyte hard drive.
Between work and experimentation, there are also a few server-type machines, running WinXP x32 (AMD Sempron 2600+ at 1 gigabyte RAM), CentOS Linux (Intel PIII at 1 gigabyte RAM), or other flavours of Linux. Client machines at work tend to be Core2Quad or i7-based machines running WinXP x64 between four and eighteen gigabytes of RAM.
If I had to name favorites, for personal machines it'd be Win7, but in practice the importance is more what the system needs to do. I like Win7, but it'd be a disaster to try and run a VOIP system on it, where it was easy-ish with CentOS.
At the moment I'm using a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile with an Intel Celeron CPU 570 @ 2.26GHZ, 2.0GB of RAM and SiS Mirage 3 Graphics Card running Vista Home Basic.
The graphics card sucks but I don't use it for heavy gaming.
