I don't really think of myself as having truly left because I followed the forums sporadically and popped on the chat once in a while even when I wasn't really active. Real Life just has a tendency to take precedence over whatever online "communities" or "people" I'm involved with.

I've changed a lot in my absence. It'd make for some great stories to tell. But there's no bloody point because just about everyone I'd want to tell them to is gone. That's why I returned like two days after everything was wiped. It's no coincidence. In my experience, whenever that happens, it seems as if the community itself and not just the software it consists of reboots. I hope that rings true in this case and, frankly, for the better.

Also, I should probably say upfront that, as I'm deciding to start my own graphic design/art businesses, damn near everything I do/am involved with online is in an attempt to further that end.

Oh yeah, and I think I've casually mentioned the "comic" I've been "working on" for like... this many years. Well, if anyone actually shows up, I'll actually have something.

It is obvious that I am new to this site and the main reason that I joined, as well as other sites such as this, is because I simply want to know the truth about certain subjects that have been reported as being "unable to be confirmed" and such.

I am thinking about writing a book on mysteries; examples being werewolves, vampires, witches, and etc. It would be wise not to believe that the main purpose for writing such a complex (or maybe simple book for others) is so I can make fun of them. Such accusations have been brought upon me before in the past, which leads me to believe that some people are just plain unaccepting and that tends to bother me intensely.

Thank you for letting me join such an interesting site and I hope that I am able to collect enough data for my documentary, as well as make friends. =]

As the old school Werewolf.com Greeter (of whom has been slacking on his duty due to work, writing, and a whole laundry list of other thingies) welcomes you to Werewolf.com.

There are a number very well educated people on this board, and you don't have to look too far to see some of the fantastic debates we can get into. So in short, if you want to glean, there is plenty to glean.
We have a number of writers, from novice to professional, from screenwriters (such as myself) to novelists, such as Chriz, and even poets, like Klark. There are a number of artists as well. In short, no matter your disposition, I'm sure you'll find somebody to relate to.

If you're looking for facts and other related information about werewolves and such, we currently have a number of discussions going on at this moment. Just peek through the threads until you find what you like. As for the "truth" of the matter. If you want facts, we will give it to you, if you want "I'm a werewolf!" well most of our Tr00 W3r3 population has been cleaned out due to the effective response by our wonderful team of moderators.

As for making documentaries... I will be honest with you, I have a number of friends in both the entertainment biz as well as literary biz, and while they all use the internet to glean information, most of them rely more heavily on old fashioned research via our old and almost forgotten friend, the library. The reason being is that acredited books carry a lot more weight than random BBS posts, unless those BBS posts are backed by accademic weight.

I originally joined a few years ago, I believe it was 2004. However, I only posted a couple of times and was inactive, so technically I am a returning member.

I am eager to make new friends here and perhaps learn something new here and there. I'm most interested in topics regarding bodybuilding, martial arts and also energy manipulation.

A lot of the topics I see discussed here seem very refined and serious. I'll try to keep up when I have the time to though I'll go inactive occasionally due to my job.

If you're having problems updating your profile stuff or seeing your posts it is because as a new member you need to have 10 posts under your belt and approved for posting in order to deal with all of that.

Firstly, welcome to Werewolf.com and if you are looking for various werewolf related topics, if you take just a few minutes to scan through the various forums we have, I'm sure you'll find a thread to appease your appitite.

Despite the nominclature of the BBS, we don't just discuss werewolVES here, but a number of subjects as well.

It will also do you a bit of good (Morgana has already mentioned this in another thread) to try and use the spell checker. It is useful. While we won't kill you if you are having spelling trouble, we will get annoyed if you totally disergard any form of grammar to the point that we have to search for an ancient artifact to decifer your chicken scratch...

Well it's been a big year for me. Work in Farnborough wound down in April, fortunately I had an escape plan in place.

We moved from the UK to take up a job over here in Wellington in June - during the middle of some of the worst weather ever here. People were apologising for it for weeks!

NZ is a smaller country than the UK, but I've really rather fallen in love with it (just as well). Wellington must be about one of the best cities in the world.

well, like some others im new around here.

im an 23 year old guy from the Netherlands.

i got a couple of hobby's i guess. let's see, playing first person shooters and real time strategy games. hiking through the wilds, sticking my nose in books conserning weapons. mountainbiking, sportscars, and one of my favourites. organising private party's. dont get me wrong i also like to go to an clubb every once in a while but its awesome to have a group of people you know and have a blast. i know my way around with most media hardware. so i pretty much always set up my laptop with an large HDTV hooked up and of course some serious speakers plugged into an amplifier.

well, besides that i can talk about a lot of things, politics, enviroment, games... even spiritual things i guess. although i rather get a feel about what the general feeling is about some matters are around here before i start flapping my jaw. no offense hahaha.

i finished high school and enlisted for service in the airborne infantry short after. i have been doing that job for about 5 years now, two tours in afghanistan where i got out pretty much without an scratch :p. after turning off a few offers to become an Sargeant or Luitenant and even an contract of an PMC i decided it was better for myself to get an education into logistic management, and eventually quit the service.

I'm Ieliv from Ohio. I get alot of questions on how to pronounce it so its (long E + Live as in living) Kinda say it with a sort of Russian accent and you'll probly get it:).

Anyway moving on, I'm 25 right now, will be 26 in a few days. I love Science of almost all kinds. I'm really into Botany, and enjoy growing plants of all sorts, I can spend hours messing with them.

I collect antiques as well, all kind of unusual stuff. Uranium glass, old lab equipment, pretty much anything that has vacuum tubes, pretty much anything that catches my eye that I can afford. I love the old stuff, way better than the new. Back when things were made of wood metal and glass, and weighed about 80lbsXD, as opposed to today when everything is plastic, and I have a serious hatred for plastic.

I'm not really into video games, but I do play them occasionally, mostly first person shooters, rpgs, and racing games.
I love my music, it goes where I go. I am a linux user also. Ubuntu with openbox.

I'm a 3d and graphic artist, been doing that for about 10 years or so. Right now I'm lazily attempting to learn python.

I love animals, especially dogs, wolves, foxes, and the like. I like the whole werewolf concept, but for me, if I could make the change it'd probly be permanent.

I'm not exactly a "people" person, a dog person yes. But I just have a tendency not to like people.

I started my art career in the independent comic book industry, moved on to clip art artist for a software company, then art director for a rum company and now I'm a graphic designer for a Diamond and jewelry retailer. I know that this is a late entry but I figured that it was about time I made my first post. For those of you who were around before Chistmas last year, it should be easy to remember who I am. With that out of the way I'm here primarily for the werewolves (discussion, not actual werewolves) though I see a really diverse forum here and will probably end up diving headlong into completely unrelated sections as well.

I'm spiritual but not blind with faith, only slightly misanthropic, and just generally up for a good conversation.

And for all the people in this thread claiming to be werewolves, by all means contact me since I'd love to listen to what you have to say.

Because the people guessing it were Anime-freaks who only knew a handful of Japanese. They had no idea what "Wake" was, just that it followed romanji spelling.

Because that's how my Googles work. If I'd clicked the "Web Search" button, it would look exactly the same.

A search without the quotes brought up nothing with the three words together in one phrase.

Anyhoo, I have been a SUPER-HUGE fan of anything werewolf related since I can remember: Comics, movies, manga, myths & legends, sightings, therianthropy, cryptozoology, lycanthropy etc.

Being intensely drawn; mentally, to the balance of nature, spiritually, to the call of the wild, majestic wolf and physically, to shapeshifting. I have dedicated a portion of my life to discovering the truth behind the great mysterious veil surrounding werewolfism. Physically possible or not, is as yet to be seen.
