I was wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of a fast food chain called MOES? It's a Southwestern grill place, and it's really good. Taco Salad, Just plain Tacos and Burritos, Queso (A delicious Cheese dip), and Quesadillas. That may be about all they serve, but you don't get tired of it, this stuff is DA BOMB!!!!!

For all those out there who were wondering what the heck MOES ment, well it stands for Musicians, Outlaws, and Entertainers. The food here isn't just good to eat, it's good for you, well atleast most of it (mind the chips and the Queso cause they Deep-fry the chips and the Queso is real cheese with peppers.) Also the restaurant moves like a Lunch line, they have all your ingredients right in front of you, just to ensure accuracy, and you tell them everything you want.

I don't know about you guys but I love this place and have been going there for 3 years, maybe 2 times a month, or whenever I find time, because I prefer a Home-Cooked meal over most other things.

But if you happen to be out one time and your hungry and want Mexican, I encourage you to try MOES.

Finding fast food that meets my family's needs is hard, Primarily the gluten free part of it.

my partner who I have been telling has a sensitivity (because I am not a doctor but have taking a lot of classes in nutrition) finally went to a doctor turns out he has an allergy, and The place we went to was really awesome! If your cupboards are full of something you are allergic to they are willing to trade you food for food, then donate things they can't trade to other clients/patients to food banks. We found a really good brown rice pasta that actually has the texture of regular pasta!

I am a pesca-tarian (eats fish sometimes), and I don't like the texture of fatty or greasy foods found at most fast food joints.

like I have stated in another thread I have to be careful what goes in my body or I get sick, the lower the process level the better. Raw Nuts, Fruits, Veggies have always been the best route for me (its what I grew up on =p)

Fish however is much needed due to the protein, but I don't eat a lot of it or i feel a little off, best I can explain it.

if you have one around you should try Pita pit, I used to work at one and I know how they make their food and it didn't want to make me want to quit *smiles* food is actual food and is pretty healthy, has the option of white or wheat pita, or a salad. <3 it also flipped it ingredient more than is slandered by health code! Which is stranded by the co- when i worked there at least

There used to be one Moe's that I knew of on campus, but that's gone...the closest one is now 85 miles away. When my family had reason to travel to Atlanta, GA on a regular basis, Moe's was always a regular stop. The closest 'type' of restaurant in comparison would be Baja Fresh, the Mexican-food joint owned by Wendy's, and that was a regular haunt too when it was local. Unfortunately, there are none left in Ohio.

Seems that Chipotle is all that's left in terms of decent "fast food" south-of-the-border options. :(
