Hello everyone,

I know that there are a few of us here who play various instruments, and it's time to stand up and be proud of it! So, without anymore needless rambling from yours truly...

What do you play? For me, it's strictly the guitar in either electric or acoustic form however I must admit that I favor the electric. :D

So, let's hear it! Also, don't be afraid to post some pictures of your gear. As a guitar geek, I appreciate pr0n here and there.

Shane

PS...

Pr0n-(noun.) Pictures that are, surprisingly, not of a pornographic nature.

Sweet guitar my friend. Does Demon play well?

I play guitar and a little bit of piano. I currently have: Fender Stratocaster 60's vintage, Gibson Les Paul, Jasmine acoustic/electric, and an Ibanes acoustic. None of which I own, but I'm the only one who plays them. To fix this, I'm working on a prototype design for an electric.

he makes an awesome sound since he is an electric acoustic :)

WareW-Believer - Nice! I like your Les Paul. What are your plans for the prototype?

UNODRAGONE - Electric Acoustic? Sweet. I've been wanting one of those for a while now, but alas...I am going to have to be content with my normal acoustic. :p

I still want to get a regular acoustic maybe a Gibson, just cause acoustics have a mellow calming sound :)

I'm the only person in the world who doesn't play guitar. Instead I play the piano, though I've toyed with many other instruments. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time to play as I used to, but I still love to tickle the ivories. Here's my baby:

Tempest - Beautiful piano! I envy you, really. I've always wanted to learn how to play it, but I never had one accessible to me. So, with that said, I went with the instrument that was within arms reach.

ThrasherCub - Awesome array of instruments that you are familiar with! I'd love to learn another instrument. As for computer programs that allow you to make music, do you mean that you want to be more familiar with recording software?

Some day, but right now I'm enthralled with my friend who has been taking electronic music classes. That, and I've been listening to huge amounts of techno from Fur Affinity - TC wants to fill the internet with techno and trance! :D

ThrasherCub - Awesome! Go for it. I have a friend that kind of does that. He's more of a person who makes his own remixes of already made songs, but it's pretty cool for what it is.

I am so very much going to make a song in your honor for this encouragement.

The design is basically a cross between a Stratocaster and an Ibanez RG350mdx, which I was going to buy untill I saw the price tag. I've tried a lot of guitars, but the strat's body appeals to me the best, but there's something about it that looks a little too mellow. So, I took the "horns" from the RG350 and added them to the strat. As for the neck, I'm keeping it the same size as my strat except for adding a 24th fret and making the head like the RG350. Pickups will be a humbucker at both the neck and bridge, and the bridge will be a Floyd Rose.

I have a yamaha upright for piano-ing, some form of electric guitar, and some form of acoustic guitar. I don't play much guitar, but I do enjoy it.
Mostly I make electronic music.

I play a wornout old BundyII alto sax, but I'm savin' up for a Cannonball or a custom plated italian alto.

Amazing! I remember back when I was about to enter high school, I thought that I wanted to play in the band and decided that I should play the saxophone. I ended up bailing on that idea after I discovered my love for the guitar that same month.

Yours truly plays the drum kit, xylophone, and the harmonica. I learned violin years ago, but I probably would severely ruin one now.

I started off playing piano at the age of 13, self taught primarily, then took it up in high school along with the bass recorder.

I stopped playing piano and recorder in 2001 (because the teachers said I haven't started with music at an earlier age) and started to teach myself playing the guitar, my first kit was a red Ibanez 1994 EX series and a 10w Marshall pocket amp that was passed on from my late sister to me (I still have the Ibanez, just needs a little maintenance, it is pretty old).

I also do a bit of harmonica (also teaching myself) and I recently started up doing electronica, but it's all still PC based stuff.

I primarily still play guitar, both acoustic and electric. Piccies to follow soon ;)

I'm envious. I've always wanted to learn how to play that piano but I never had one near enough to practice on. But, that's not to say that I'm completely happy with playing the guitar, because I am! :D

I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures!

I play a little bit of everything from Guitar to piano to violin, but mostly electric and acoustic guitar. My grandfather taught me (he's an awesome blues and jazz guitarist). I've recently began to collect old and used guitars from garage sales and fix them up. My newest addition is my tobacco burst Harmony. I only paid $25 for it. I'd have to say my fave tho is my Les Paul.

Nice family you've got there! Is that a standard Crybaby Wah? I used to have a Zakk Wylde Crybaby, but ended up selling it for a George Lynch Morley Dragon Wah.

It's a standard. It's the only thing I really use to get that Stevie Ray Vaughan sound.

Awesome. I'm assuming that you are happy with your tone then?

Very much so, but I'm thinking about getting an EVH pedal. I'm also looking for a good talkbox.
