So according to comics and a certain movie franchise mutation could feasibly be a step in the direction of the next evolution for humanity... or it just random god given abnormality that makes you a special little snowflake.

Either case or both... Most people have their physical quirks these days. Feel up for sharing? I am!

What is your groovy mutation?

My list in no particular order:

I have only one wisdom tooth
One of my ears is pointed (not with a Darwin's tubercle, the tissue is actually deflated where that'd be)
I have hypermobility in my fingers, tongue and toes

...and that's all I can think of right now.

I have a torus mandibularis (bone growth on the inside of the jaw), and it's not nasty and bulbous like it is with many people who have it. This is kind of awesome because it makes it harder to break my jaw.

I have the ol'semi-conjoined toes on my right FOOT, the two after my big toe are conjoined to about 1/3 of their length. This gives me the ability to swim 0.ooo1 percent faster that a normal human being!

I have semi-hypermobile traits to my fingers, but other than that I have nothin' more of notice. If we did talk about gained superpowers however, I do have a magic pebble imbebbed in my left knee.

You know, I figured the fact that you have multiple right feet might have deserved a bit more attention...

I never thought about it like that before...hmmmm...

Also, gimme a break, I just woke up. :p

Plus, what I meant was that both my feet are the right feet to kick ass!

I was born with a dog-ear: the top of my left pinna was folded, and even though it's straight now, the kink in the cartilage is still there. Not that it's a mutation or anything, but it's kind of cool. Especially when combined with the whole vet tech and dog trainer thing.
