I purchased my darling Iphone 3Gs, of which I've named Irina. Yes I name my gadgets... so sue me... :D

At any rate, I am having the greatest fun playing with my new digital child. (It costs as much as a child). I recently purchased "Brushes" as well as a few basic apps, like Skype, Weather Oklahoma, a New Moon movie count down app, and an ATT app, so I can keep tabs on my usage, as well as the other lines I am paying for.

I uploaded this video today, using the Iphone's video recorder. I then was able to upload my video to Youtube, via the device. It took just a few minutes. Crazy technology...

I uploaded my entire music cataloge from my PC.

Of course all of this pleasure doesn't come without a price. I ended up spending 299.99 for the 32GB Iphone 3Gs and when you add the case and a car charger, insurance (provided through Best Buy, not ATT) the cost came to just a little over $400 dollars.
Then you have to consider the manditory upgrade fee (18 dollars) and a 30 dollar data plan per month along with the standard 2yr contract. I then added 200 text message package as well... 5 dollars... So my monthly service bill will go up by around 30 bucks per month, as I have to subtract my old cell phone's insurance, of which was $5.00 dollars.
All in all, the functions are fantastic.

I had somebody ask me if there was a comparible phone to the Iphone 3Gs... other than the Iphone 3G, there isn't a comparison. This device is light years ahead of the other devices.

Well that is all I gotz to say now... I gotta get back to Irina... :beerchug:

All I can say is that I love my iPhone 3GS, though I'm a complete app whore. (games mostly) Its just so easy to pick up a game and play it on the iPhone vs. other portable devices. Here are a few of my favorite apps:

Instant Messaging - BeejiveIM (expensive, but it does everything)
Sports - MLB At Bat 2009 (if you like baseball at all)
Social Networking - Twittelator (for Twitter), Facebook
Games *coughtoomanycough* - Space Ace (yes, the laser disc game), Doom Ressurrection, iLove Katamari, 2Across (crossword puzzles galore), Peggle, Light Riders (cool Tron lightcycle game)...the list goes on.

Enjoy Irina. May you have many happy times together!
