View Full Version : Unable to See or Remove Groans

I'm noticing that sometimes if I have "groaned" a post the box appears to say they've been groaned but it won't show who by or the link that let's you remove them.

I've tried the latest versions of Firefox and Chromium (a base of Google Chrome used for Linux Ubuntu) and it's the same either way. I've tried viewing source and even the source code fails to show the respective HTML to list the names or link - which means either my browsers aren't processing the file correctly or the server (script) isn't sending it properly.

Thanks feature works perfectly so it can't be a settings thing (since they're basically the same).

Any ideas on how to solve this?

I just tried it out myself and it's working fine atleast on my end, but I did notice that same error on your groan, maybe it was just a processing error on that one time, try it again maybe? For rooting out what the error was I have no idea.

Kat and I noticed that today, too. She saw a groan (that you posted) normally. I just saw the box for the groan but no indicator who was responsible.

We have no idea what would be causing that. Probably some bug in the groan system.

I just thanked that because I can't groan at it!

Fenris seems to be right. Perhaps browser fudged when I made the groan? I groaned Fenris' post above and it worked fine (have removed and thanked instead).

Evidently, the groan system just likes to play pranks on me! :p

Nothing solves bugs like a good measure of elbow grease! Jus'plug it out and plug it back in is the answer to all of lifes problems. Or so the dammed cable bastards keep telling me! I've done that already you nimwits, I don't need professional help unplugging my modem, thank you! è_é
