Upgraded from 40G to 320G
As for consoles I've owned in the past...

- Sega Game Gear
- Nintendo 64
- Gameboy Pocket
- Gameboy Color
- Gameboy Advanced

Mine:
XBox360 (Love this thing)
Gamecube
PS2
...I don't ever think I'll get the Wii, and the PS3 is too expensive at the moment, but I want GoW3!
Mostly the Xbox 360. The graphics on some games still leaves in awe from time to time.

Ah, I heard that GoW3 was being made! I am actually a former 360 owner and the first game I bought for it was Gears of War. I LOVED that game. However, my system ended up dying a month later.
Kudos to you for your systems and good luck with your 360!

Lets see... In my complete gaming history, I've had a SNES, Sega Genesis, PS1, N64, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, PS2, 360, and of course PC.
At this point in time however the only ones that are still functional/in use are the PC, PS2, and 360.
I would have a Game Cube, PS2, PS3, and an Xbox.

Xav - Wow, that's quite a career in gaming!
McKitty - Oh! Yeah, I'm looking forward to God of War 3 as well. Then again, I haven't played any of the previous installments. As for Gears, you should try out the first one, it's quite fun!
Meta (SD, =P) - Sweet. I'm actually thinking about buying a DS soon!

I am limited to a PS2, a PC, and one of those little sega games you plug into the vcr. I play on the PS2 and PC about equal, maybe a little more on the comp. The plug-in is sadly neglected most of the time.

I currently own a Nintendo DS, and I hardly have time even for that.
In the past, I've had:
SNES
Sega Genesis
Sega Saturn
Game Boy (with and without color)
Game Boy Advanced
N64
Gamecube
N64 was by far my favorite, but since then I've moved to PC gaming over strictly console games.

The only game I have right now is "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune", but I haven't even played it yet. I just purchased the PS3, namely for the Blu-Ray player. I plan to get Killzone 2 later on though. I probably won't be a huge PS3 player until the Final Fantasy stuff arives. Either that, or I will download a ton of games. :P
I'm currently playing Resident Evil 5 on the X360 though...

J.L.R. - Sweet. I have RE5 for PS3, however, I've killed the game. I've gotten all trophies for it and unlocked everything, so I'm kinda waiting for Arkham Asylum to come out so I can pick up my pre-order. Killzone 2 is an amazing game. It's possibly the best shooter I've ever played, so that would be a good purchase on your part. Also, the multi-player for KZ2 is fluid.

Marry Me!
I just remembered... I still have my Playstation, even though I don't use it any more AT ALL...
I use to have a Genesis w/ 32X, but honestly that attatchment was not only a pain in the neck to attach to your Gen, half the time it didn't work. I took back 3 of them until I figured out that the system was just REALLY that buggy. After it was said and done, it only made games look like SNES games and they still sounded horrid, even with Qsound... MKII was a pretty solid port, but the SNES version still sounded a WHOLE lot better.

I own a PS2, an XBOX 360, a Gamecube which recently broke on me, a Nintendo GBA SP, a Nintendo DS which also broke, goddamnit, and a Nintendo 64.
Mostly though, I'm a PC gamer.

It is a terrible pain in the neck, but how I love it anyway. And you're right it really doesn't make it look or sound too much better. I really just want it for the sake of playing 32X-only games.

I remember Primal Rage being a really good part... to bad it was a really good port of a really bad game. :P
Caotix is fine... in fact it is actually fun. Sadly, I think only 13 or 14 games ever came out before it was canned, but as stated it really didn't add anything to the Genesis, other than physical space.

I currently own: PS3 (original 80 GB with PS2 capability, outfitted with 250GB hard drive and has usuable OpenSUSE 11.1 Linux operating system).
PS2
PSP-3000
Nintendo DSi
NIntendo DS LIte
XBox360
Nintendo Gamecube
NIntendo 64
Super NIntendo
Nintendo Entertainment System
Sega Genesis
Sega 32X
Nintendo Gameboy Advance
and somewhere in storage I have a Sega Gamegear.
The XBox360 and NIntendo DSi belong to my wife, and she plays them the most.
The Nintendo DS LIte and PS2 belong to my son, who plays them the most.
All but the PS3 and PSP-3000 are currently in boxes in the basement, though the occasional outburst of nostalgia requires I bring them up, plug them in and give them a play.
A special note: I wrote this post on my PS3. :)

I guess I'll be like Xav and do my complete history (especially since I am trying to re-obtain some of the consoles I once had) The ones Italicized we still have.
Nintendo, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Handheld, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advanced, Nintendo DS, PSP, N64, GameCube, Wii, XBox, PS1, PS2, DreamCast, Atari, and of course, My Computer.
I think that covers everything I have ever owned. We lost a lot of it in a fire a few years back.

I got a PS3, and I don't see myself getting either one of the other two current-gen systems or any handhelds. Mainly because every game I really want is on both 360 and PS3, there's less monetary baggage overall with PS3 compared to the Wii or 360, and the few "must have" games for me on the Wii or PSP (like each system's respective Silent Hill title) are also available on PS2... Or were released on Gamecube a long-ass time ago....
Overall, I think the PS3 was/is a good bargain. I got an employee discount on mine of 15%, and any time I go into any place that sells movies now, the writing's pretty much on the wall that the industry is telling us we're going to be dumping the extensive DVD libraries many of us invested a lot of time and money building up from our VHS collections for yet another format, whether we like it or not. So at least I got probably the cheapest player that doesn't suck, plus a gaming system that actually has some good games, plus a network on which I only pay for what I want and not just for the privilege of having the fucking service.

Oddly enough, I haven't even set up a PSN profile yet. I'm not really keen on gaming online, but that might change if I decide RE5's DLC is worth the price or a Smackdown VS. Raw game comes out I don't automatically write off as an excuse to advertise shitty nu-metal bands.

I actually had a lot of fun with RE5's DLC. I mean, you can go for more trophies with it, but even if you don't go for it, you can still get your platinum trophy if you get all the others that aren't DLC related.

Well I inherited the old SuperNintendo from my brother, and I don't know how long ago we got a shiny new Nintendo64. Then came the Gamecube, then the Xbox 360.
I used to own a Playstation 2 but it wasn't my thing.
As for handhelds, I had an original Gameboy, then upgraded to a Gameboy Color. Have a regular DS now.
But the best had to be the N64. It had Ocarina of Time, which is hands down the greatest game ever to me. But now I'm caught up in another play-through of Twilight Princess on the G-cube...so shhh.

Wonderful. I used to have LoZ:TP for Wii, but I beat it and then ended up selling it. I've been thinking about purchasing it again though, but I'm waiting for a price drop. But, considering how wonderful of a game it was, I don't think that'll happen anytime soon.

You know in certain countries throwing a Zelda game away is like tossing a baby out the window and is punishable by flogging via a Moblin...

That's cool at least. I really don't like the direction a lot of game companies are taking with DLC where you pay 70 bucks or whatever for the disc, then more just for the privilege of being able to really have the game. I think in the case of RE5's DLC, not needing it to get a platinum trophy is what makes the difference between it being just something nice to have, but not necessary and the aforementioned corporate bullshit which is probably going to end up causing a backlash not seen since E.T cartridges became a landfill.

Indeed, but this will blow your mind. Believe it or not, the DLC Multiplayer mode "Versus" was actually already built into the disc. You basically are just paying for the pass-key to unlock that mode. So, all in all, you're not truly purchasing a download that adds on to your copy of RE5, but just the pass-key that allows the mode to become visible.
Kind of messed up, huh?

That's actually the way most DLC works. Actually, from now on I'm calling them DLK - Downloadable Keys. And ya know something? If the DLK is just nice things to have that aren't necessary to even be able to say you've got a complete game, that's fine by me. And chances are, before this console generation is over, I'll even purchase some. But I'm obviously not going to be buying any DLKs for discs I decided weren't worth the added cost necessary just to have the damn game.
We really need to start putting our money where our mouths and our common sense are.
