The Ánleifr were created for this weregame, so I thought I'd list their spells and see if anyone had any questions/comments/concerns/suggestions about it. :D
Transform- This spell allows the Ánleifr to properly blend in with their prey by shape-shifting. The first form they learn is wolf, but it is not uncommon for an Ánleifr to learn several forms to hunt a wider variety of lycanthropes. The transform spell is one way, so it lasts until the Ánleifr casts Transform again to return to human form.
Siphon Sense- This spell gradually weakens the lycanthrope's senses, slowly enough that most lycanthropes won't notice that they cannot see, smell or hear as well as they once could until it's far too late. This spell targets anyone within fifty yards in any direction of the caster.
Sense Enhance- This spell heightens the Ánleifr's senses to the level of an average lycanthrope. This spell usually lasts about fifteen minutes, and this duration grows longer the stronger the Ánleifr grows.
Shield Scent- This spell creates a magical barrier around the caster, trapping the Ánleifr's human scent inside. The barrier emits a lycanthrope's scent to effectively hide the Ánleifr among the beasts. This spell is also a one-way spell; once cast, the barrier will stay in place until the Ánleifr “breaks” the spell.
Shield Scent Break- This spell breaks the scent barrier around the scent-stealthed Ánleifr.
Call To The Wild- This spell calls to the power of the lycanthrope's beast through druidic magic, and drains their strength so the Ánleifr may use it against them. This spell targets one lycanthrope and lasts until the Ánleifr has taken sufficient energy.
Petrify- This is one of the more powerful of the Ánleifr's array of spells. Should a lycanthrope begin their transformation from human to beast in the presence of an Ánleifr, this spell can halt the transformation and reverse the lycanthrope back to human form. An Ánleifr cannot reverse a completed transformation, only interrupt an incomplete transformation and reverse it. This spell won't work if preformed upon a lycanthrope returning to human form from their beast form.
Entrapment- This spell conjures restraints strong enough to bind a lycanthrope. This spell has the longest cast time of all the Ánleifr's spells, as they must concentrate upon the type of restraints until they are completely conjured. Once conjured, only the very strongest of lycanthropes have the strength to break the restraints.
Will Project- This is the most powerful (and last-ditch effort) spell in the Ánleifr's arsenal. At the moment of the Ánleifr's death, usually in battle with a lycanthrope, they can cast a spell that bends the lycanthrope to their will for three days. No known lycanthrope has ever been able to fight off the urge to hunt their fellow lycanthropes after being subject to the Ánleifr's Will Project.
