Thats right, folks! Dear Ol' Meta's having a blog naming contest. Lets first proceed to the rules (groan).
1. Has to be your own original idea.
2. Can't be lewd.
3. Play nice, follow the site rules, you know the drill.
Contest ends and voting begins on July 18th at 12 midnight MST.
Alright, what are we naming?
I'm designing a blog to raise awareness about puppy mills or backyard Breeders. Its a terrible issue and that every pet owner is effected by. There are 53 million dogs, 2/3 of them are from puppy mills. Causing overpopulation, carrying so many diseases, and having to be euthanized. This needs to stop. You pet stores most likely sell puppies from mills. They say they don't? USDA licences are a joke.
They make breeders only operate at the bare minimum. Which leads to inhumane conditions, dogs raised like cattle. My hope is to make people realize that the pretty 8 week old puppy they've been dreaming of is right down at your local pet shelter.
So without further delay, the contest is now officially open! :love:
