I'm thankful that my daughter is such a good night sleeper and has been since she was 2-3 months!

I'm also thankful that people created holidays so that we have an excuse to not work and eat tons of good food. :p

I am NOT too thankful that this isn't a day off here, however I am thankful that there are numerous strikes today here that have captured my professors so that I do not have classes at all!

With everything that's been going on the last few weeks, it's easy for me to find the things I'm grateful for, although looking for such things hasn't been as easy. It's easy to see all the things going wrong, all the misfortune, and it's real easy to complain about it all. It's harder to take a look at it all and say, "At least I have" whatever it is.

I'm thankful for my father and his girlfriend for everything they've been doing to help, even if it sounds like an ass-chewing half the time. They're still doing all they can to set my life right-side up again.

I'm thankful for everyone I'd gone off on lately understanding that I don't mean it, that I sometimes can't control my temper, and still being a supportive friend to me.

I'm thankful or everyone on Werewolf.com for just coming on and being themselves; you guys always provide a little distraction from all my problems.

Most of all, I'm thankful for Bane still standing at my side, and not taking off when things got unstable. He does the best he can for me, he always tries to make me smile when I feel like curling up under the bedsheets and not moving, and I always love him for it. Even if I don't say it as often as I should.

:D

Serious answer?

I'm thankful that I have a job (currently 2, but one is a temp) and will be able to afford an apartment and thus MOVE OUT of my current residence where my welcome has long since worn out.

I'm thankful for parents who care and have provided a roof over my head and various other sundries for the past few years while I finish my schooling and get back on my feet financially.

I'm thankful for having a loaner car to drive because I don't have mine anymore, and thankful that it currently has no issues, mechanical or otherwise, with a 50 mile per day commute.

As for the "in jest" thanks...well, I'm sure y'all have enough of those, so I'll leave it at that.
