Who plans to watch this tonight on The History Channel? I do. I want to see if it keeps the promise of changing everything.
For those that don't know, it will be about the discovery of the missing link in evolution, that was found. A sort of lemur-monkey-human thing, if I got the info straight.

I had no idea that was going to be on tonight.
I guess I'll be watching it. :p

I know it airs at 9 p.m. my time. I assume it will be airing at the 9 mark in each time zone.

According to my TV guide, it says it will be airing at 6pm PST.

Crap, I wonder if that means it will start at 7 for me. I wouldn't doubt it.

Watching it now, only because I just seen this post and was hoping that it MIGHT be on. It is, yay!

Thoughts everyone?
To be honest, I"m amazed at the quality of such an old fossil and I found their findings remarkable. I don't know that it changes everything, since Ida only really substantiates the claim made by Darwin, but it's certainly exciting. I'm sad they didn't give a 3-D look with flesh and fur. Ida lived a short, nearly cruel life, but she's golden to many scientists now!

The more "missing links" they find, the harder it is to draw the line between species. It's almost a cruelty. :p
I found the show somewhat educational, but I hate how channels like THC and Discovery make shows like these so sensational. This discovery is definitely nice to have, but it certainly doesn't change any previously accepted theories on primate evolution.

It was definitely interesting, but doesn't really bring about any real big changes.
