Apparently, people with Down Syndrome rarely get cancer and it has to do with that extra chromosome 21 they have.

The story is here. (http://www.sciencenews.org/view/generic/id/43950/title/How_Down_syndrome_works_against__cancer)

breast cancer is the commonest cancer in females.
prostate cancer is the the commonest cancer in males.
but lung cancer is the greatest cause of death relating cancer.

That's... that's great. Just out of curiousity, what did this have to do with the topic?

Also, while your statements are correct, I generally find it good form to source your facts. For example, the ACS has a great document (http://www.cancer.org/acs/groups/content/@nho/documents/document/acspc-024113.pdf) with 2010 statistics on cancer incidence and mortality (warning: link is a PDF.)
