Hello fellow PS3 owners!

How about we follow suit with the 360 Gamer Tag thread and post our PSN ID's.

I'm going to make this a little bit easier to keep track of. So, bolded names are our ww.com forum names and our Playstation Network ID's will follow the dash that follows them.

Just to bump this thread, I'm going to post my PSN portable ID.

For those of us with PS3's, you can get your PS3 portable ID from here at the PS3 Web site. (http://www.us.playstation.com) Just sign in and get your portable ID, then post it!

To post mine like this, I cut away everything from the code they give you except the address of the image source.

Yeah... I suck... I haven't played anything other than Blu-Ray's on my PS3... Been to busy with "day job" and writing, so that I can flee away from, said, "day job".

Ugh... I don't know what I'm doing... Could a Mod please fix the tag link... I don't remember the proper syntax this site uses...

Ah, and you'll notice that mine updated to 207 from 203. That's because I went back to that site and updated my portable gamertag there. When you do that, it will update here in this thread too.

That's sweet because it means we don't have to repost or edit it to get it updated.

Hopefully there is more than just us three kings here on the PS3.

I agree. We could both use another man on our side of the battle field. However, I admit that Klark has recently gotten me addicted to playing Battlefield: Bad Company. Then again, I'm pretty much a trophy whore...:D

Well, I do have a confession. I haven't really played Killzone since I bought it, I find the controls rather alien since Resistance 2 but HELLS YEAH. I'm looking to get into it so give me a bit of practise and I'll gladly hop on board!

Besides, even if I wanted to play games on a console it'd be either the Nintendo Wii for things like the Wii Fit, or XBox 360 for the gorgeous graphics.

How many people do you guys know that also have PS3s, just out of curiosity? I can see it being worthwhile if I had a bunch of friends I could play with over the net.

That's the thing, my friends aren't into gaming like I am so I am forced to make friends through LBP. I have decided to make it my mission to boost my friends list so I can actually really enjoy online gaming which is literally THE best thing. PSN has come on leaps and bounds and aright now I'm wasting it.

I have a lot of friends in my area that actually have a PS3 as well as myself, however, I don't game with them that often due to most of them being into games like Rock Band and whatnot.

Also, Kat, I can personally vouch for the Wii since I own one as well. It's a great system for games that have more of a interactive feel to them like Wii Fit and whatnot. Also, it gives games like the Zelda series and Resident Evil 4 more of a personal feel to them.

I have a huge friends list, with some friends being in my area, and others being throughout the world. One friend in particular is a Wal-Mart employee I met while purchasing a title who enjoys a good FPS game. Hell of a player.

The Playstation online gaming has made many advances and continues to provide more and more for gamers to do all while remaining free. Sure we had to wait a little longer for some features, but it's FREE.

The XBox360 will never match the graphics of the PS3 when fully utilized. As a matter of fact, COD4 looked slightly more pixelated in areas on the XBox360 than the PS3 version, which looked identical to it's PC brethren.

I cannot for the life of me get my mind to work with letter keys and a mouse for gaming. I simply cannot function as a player that way and end up running into corners like a mentally-challenged person without their helmet. I suppose I could use a controller in place of it, but meh, I love my consoles.

Necro, I'll add you when I get home from work and we'll see what all games we have in common. I can tell you that I have Killzone 2 and LBP, both of which I saw you have.

And don't worry, Raiden has to catch up to my rank so we can game together in Killzone 2. Even though we clanned up, we cannot get into the same game unless it's unranked, which blows but is a fact of life. Another reason Battlefield: Bad Company rocks the living socks right off ya!

Awesome dude! I'm one trophy away from Platinum on Burnout: Paradise. I am requiring a PS3 Eye so I can send a Mugshot or Smugshot.

Personally, I think it's BS that the game requires the use of a peripheral device to get a platinum trophy, but that's game designers for you.

How does this trophy thing work with the PS3? My cousins are talking about it to me constantly, and I just nod and smile.

It's similar to achievements on the XBox360. There are pre-determined trophies when you start a game, and upon completing the task you are awarded a bronze, silver, gold or platinum trophy.

Platinums are typically reserved for completing all other trophies. Golds are given for harder tasks, silver for medium difficulty tasks and bronze for trying a feature in the game, or something equally easy.

Those are totaled on your PSN ID, and you achieve ranks within the PSN. Right now, the ranks and trophies don't do anything except show other players that you can complete a task, but I've heard rumblings in the industry that Sony is debating making the trophies worth a lil something...

They could possibly be used for a point-based system toward purchases on the PSN. The trophies would be worth a certain amount of points that would translate toward discounts on purchasable items from the store. I think that would be way cool for buying things for Home.

I haven't spent a dime in Home, and I don't think I'm going to, but if they would take my trophies and make them Home dough, then I would be more apt to buy T-shirts and shit for my character.

These are the rumblings I've heard, so who knows. Could be in a future update.

Very interesting. I too haven't spent a single dime in Home, and honestly, I haven't really spent much time in Home...

Now, if they were to have trophies translate into moolah, then I too might be more apt to making purchases for Home.

By the way, I JUST picked up Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and it's really awesome so far. There are even...*GASP*...secret trophies that need to be unlocked.

Also, I saw a PSP Go in the box today at my local GameStop and wow...it's really small in comparison to the box for my PSP 3000.

Now Home needs a big over-haul as far as I'm concerned... Although that may be because I'm on the European server and there are a lot of different languages out there. Anyways, one addition to home I wish they'd make is a trophy cabinet/room where you can show off your metal wear. That would be sweet.

See, I agree with that. I was under the impression that you'd be able to do that from the get-go with Home. I found it very misleading when it didn't come about. However, Home still is in Beta. We don't have a finished product yet. It's important to remember that.

Although Betas can go on and on and on. Look at GMail, it finally finished its beta years into actually having the service.

I just wanted to let you all know that I've changed my PSN ID. I started to feel like an ass playing multiplayer games (when my connection isn't being bitchy) and having people butcher the name to things like "Smell-uckett" and "Small-uckett". SixOVER22 is a guitar thing, think six strings over 22 frets, just like I prefer it.

I'm not big on war games and such which rule the Multiplayer Universe with their scarred-skin bullet-holding fists.

I prefer fighting games like Street Fighter 4 and Soul Calibur 4. Also, rpg games like Prototype and Assassin's Creed 2.
