Tis the season for naughtiness! Halloween is only a few weeks away now and there are no contests for it, so let me set the pace and have a classic short story contest!

Rules:

1. It has to be a rated G story, because this is a public forum, even if it is rated PG 13. So, nothing graphic, blah blah blah.

2. It's a Halloween contest, so you can do one of the following: You can submit a short story about a true Halloween event that happened, either to you or to someone else, you can submit a scary story (still rated G!), or you can submit a fictional story about Halloween.

3. Pretty basic, it must be a STORY, not an essay. so it must have a beginning, middle, and end.

4. It can only be as long as one post. This is to keep it short. You can ask a mod how long a post can be, but if you write a story and find it doesn't all fit, don't split it into two posts!

5. Obey the rules of the board, including spelling and grammar. It is a story contest, so if you have a ton of spelling or grammar mistakes, then I won't count it as a submission until I can read it without cringing.

(Because of lack of activity on the boards (and because I'll be busy during the week of Halloween, the due date for the stories will either be until the 27th or until we have enough contestants)

This is really very nice story....Thanks.......And Halloween festive is my most favorite..........

If all you have to say is "that was good", "thanks" or "I agree" stuff then you should use the Thanks button. It looks like this: http://www.werewolf.com/vb/images/buttons/post_thanks.gif

Also if the post is old the thanks button will not be there. If the thanks button is not present it means you should not post to say thanks/etc.

Check the date of the last post. It was 2009. Unless your post is very riveting or really adds to the topic enough to reinvigorate discussion then you should not post. Resurrecting a dead topic for no reason is annoying.

Please use common sense next time, thank you.
