the resurrection of a story building area making Relays easier, and instead of send six PM's can simply share ideas with everyone in a single post, unlike the first incarnation of Build-A-Relay I have no intention on this being an exclusive group or club house type of discussion, everyone is welcome to share their ideas and build their stories, I find that so few are experienced with relays that it's difficult to just jump in so here this is for you, and for any and all interested.

(I'll understand if the Mods don't want this here if that's the case delete it if not I thank you)

Since I'm starting this I was thinking of a werewolf relay(since it's a new start on the forum I might as well get the basics out of the way) this relay would feature multiple werewolf species, I'll leave it at that for now if you're interested feel free to cast in your two cents,

if not go ahead and use this to advertise you own ideas for a Relay.

I was thanked
well thank you Toki

Okay I'm drawing up a few examples of these species and I've narrowed it down to three using names asscociated to myths.

Lycanthrope-most urbanized type still possessing human traits, save for a few enhanced ones, they are the least beastial, they slowly turn over the course of many years starting at puberty, and usually ending at age fifty, they age at a third of humans, and their final form isn't that far removed from human with a hood baggy clothes and the right application of darkness they can pass as human (this still needs some tweeking here and there so ideas are welcome I didn't throw this up for me to talk to myself)

Loup Garou- this is the type that are most abundant and most sightings are made from but not the stories, these creatures are larger and capable of standing upright or moving on all fours, they possess minor impulses of instinct driving them to do things the human part of them would not normally think to do, these creatures can only turn a few times a month or risk massive heart failure from the exertion.(still room for improvement here too)

Wendigo-named after the wendigo because of how they hunt, these beasts can take human form but rarely ever do, they are bigger than a gizzely just as much fur(picka common wolf colour) and faster than any deer, these are the beasts that the brutal stories came from, few have ever seen them but they see what's left in their wake alot of blood and the odd bone, to them being in human form is like sucking in your gut only times the feeling by ten or twenty, they've gone into cities but usually alone(more to fill in later)

I'll draw these up later

Steampunk's basically a setting where steam-power/clockwork mechanics are the height of technology. The computer never really evolved. All lot of it's based with Victorian-styled cities, but it can be a sci-fi sort or a high fantasy sort.

The video game Thief is set in a early steam-punk setting. Howl's Moving Castle is a good anime inspiration for steampunk. Lesse...

Finaly got those drawings, they're au-natural and male so if you're young avert your eyes, not that you can see any inappropriate bits, but you get the idea it was easiar to draw the male representations offering up all the details I wanted to display without going over that adult line.

first I drew the Lycan they are more human like in form and I am withdrawing my earlier description of them instead of a slow and steady tranformation they turn every night of their life only their changes are slight, claws no tail no fur a full head of hair(thusly they can often hide under baggy clothes and walk the streets freely at night), but this type of werewolf is kept in in near perfect physical condition because of their matabolism, it is so fast that they eat and eat and never gain a pound but they have no night life other than either hiding away or enjoying the shadows of the city scape or the deep woods. They are the urbanized werewolf strong quick and smart I give you the LYCAN Male click here (http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/Gafgyron/Lycanmale.jpg).

Loup Garou- this is the type that are most abundant and most sightings are made from but not the stories, these creatures are larger and capable of standing upright or moving on all fours, they possess minor impulses of instinct driving them to do things the human part of them would not normally think to do, these creatures can only turn a few times a month or risk massive heart failure from the exertion meaing that they can be stuck in werewolf/human form for weeks which ever the case maybe. They are much stronger than the Lycan but they lose much of their fine motor skills and the ability to speak though their problem solving and reasoning reamins the same. between their transformations they are more human than the others relatively normal metablosims until they've transformed it then triples causing much of if any excess fat to be burnt up in minutes, they have a fine layer of fur on their body som much so that it is hard to tell that they have any from first glance. the Loup Garou click here (http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/Gafgyron/werewolf.jpg)

Wendigo-named after the wendigo because of how they hunt, these beasts can take human form but rarely ever do, they are bigger than a gizzely just as much fur(picka common wolf colour) and faster than any deer, these are the beasts that the brutal stories came from, few have ever seen them but they see what's left in their wake alot of blood and the odd bone, to them being in human form is like sucking in your gut only times the feeling by ten or twenty, they've gone into cities but usually alone, they prefer their primitive side seeing it as pure and at one with nature a typical hippie mentality only doubled edged with a territorial and aggressive tendencies, they are smart but often let instinct rule their heart. They are the most dangerous in human or wolf forms simply because of their extremely high muscle densitym and super accelerated metabolism, their major weakness is their hunger they must consume large amounts of food or they are forced into human form and even then if they don't eat enough they'll die in the same way as a diabetic would thats why there are so few of them. the Wendigo click here (http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/Gafgyron/wendigo.jpg)

And thankyou Mckitty your little steam punk idea gave me an idea for a setting, the whole steam powered society with werewolves living within among and around trying to keep their secrets, while the few humans that know hunt after them.

so hows that for a relay idea is anyone interested

PS:I have drawn the female of each the species for those curious folks, but i wont post those because of the PG-13 nature of the site.
