Since it's now the month of November, one holiday that we can all look forwrd to is Thanksgiving.

What makes this holiday special to me is meeting kin that I only get to see once a year, and espcially the food.

My favorite Thanksgiving food is noodles, the stuffing, and pumpkin pie. What is your favorite?

I dunno, her tofurkey will probably taste better than your average turkey. Anyhow, I prefer cornish game hens myself. Although this year we will probably be going out to eat.

For some reason I doubt that, since tofu has no flavor except that which you add. :p

This'll be the first year I spend Thanksgiving with Chriz, and we're going to his parents' house for dinner.

My favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal would have to be dessert. Pecan pie, pumpkin pie, or apple pie. Mmm...

You know, I always tofu pretending to be meat would be terrible, but I've had chili, corndogs, and chicken nuggets that were reproduced with tofu instead of meat and they were surprisingly good.

Do you guys remember this (http://www.peta.org/cooking-mama/index.asp)?

An oldie but a goodie. It's unintentionally amusing. :p

Oh my god, I love that thing. Peta has good intentions and they actually have a lot of good information, much of it pretty compelling.

They'd do a much better job if they weren't insane and over the top like that.

TOFURKEY!

The Tofurkey was actually really good. There were only two issues.

1, it tasted more like chicken than turkey.
2, it was an odorless sphere.

Did...did those eggs bleed?

My favorites are stuffing and sweet potatoes. I've had plenty of both the past few days. :D

Did...did those eggs bleed?

Yes. It may have been related to the feathers they contained. I guess it was too easy to forget that eggs are potentially cute little chickens unless they bleed everywhere.

That, and PETA just makes creepy shit.

PETA loves to scare the crap out of anyone who looks at an animal in any way and isn't one of them (one of the PETA members, of course).

I remember seeing a picture of one of their demonstrations with some girl in a cage with tiger body pain and a poster saying "I am a sexual deviant."

And here I used to think PETA and furries would get along due to a common appreciation of animals.

Anyway, I had turkey. Real turkey. I like mah tasty aminals. :x
