Pretty self explanitory I think, post what magazines you are subscribed to.

Game Informer - Latest info on them vidiya games.:whee:

OXM magazine - Similar to Game Informer, but only about Microsoft Games and Xbox 360 stuff.

Shonen Jump - Magazine which hosts about 7 manga, however they are often swapping manga out with others, and leave you stuck with story cliffhangers at the end of each month, although it's pretty typical in comics. *cry sob emo*

For several years I've been subscribed to Scientific American (print), but I think I'll be switching to their electronic subscription.

I've also considered subscribing to Elements (http://www.elementsmagazine.org/), a magazine that appeals to the geologist in me.

I don't subscribe, but I buy them whenever I see them:

Muscle & Fitness
Flex

And I used to get Star Trek: Communicator and Star Trek Magazine (I am a huge dork).

Isn't it almost always cheaper to subscribe to magazines than buy them from the store?

I live with horrible people who hate my interests and who check the mail when I'm not around.

It's only cheaper if you're allowed to keep them. :(

I'm currently only subscribed to Psychology Today, which is a psych magazine for non-psychologists. Basically it extracts information from recent studies and applies it to the average person's life.

I usually pick up Wizard, a comic book magazine, and occasionally Discover from the library. It's cheaper that way.

I know this is a stupid question, but does the Wizard magazine consist of actual comics like Shonen Jump or is the magazine only about comics?

That's not a stupid question. Occasionally they have previews of new comics, but never entire issues. It's just about comics. Gossip, new releases, emo fanboying, etc.

I always end up with Entertainment from the people who lived here before me. They are promptly cut up and used for collages at my GF job by children with emotional disability. This seems to be the only good uses of this rag.

Currently I don't subscribe to anything, but when I'm home I dearly enjoy the Discover and Popular Science magazines, and also The Economist when we used to get that. I'll flip through an American Rifleman too just for kicks sometimes. When I was younger, I got Horse & Rider, Horse Illustrated and most recently, Dog Fancy (which I canceled because the quality of information within was debatable, especially in my areas of interest). I also used to get the reading magazines, like Cricket and Cicada as well as Guideposts For Teens, more for the stories than the religious bent.

hmmm...actually...not too many over the years...

CANAR (Comic Art News And Reviews): a now-defunction fanzine devoted to comic art, stories, and spec fic in general. noted for the introduction of Dave Sim (Cerebus the Aardark) to fandom with his early artwork.

On Spec: canadian sf magazine still published and very good stuff too.

Dragon Magazine (i also contributed articles): D&D and such gaming magazine from TSR.

I believe you would find Classic Rock interesting, but they're printed in the United Kingdom and it costs ten dollars per magazine  but they are extremely high quality. Fortunate for me, my boss just hands them to me when he's done :D There was a free try-out for Woman's Health, but after they sent me the bill, I ceased that subscription. A few years back I was subscribed to Runner's World, I still have all 12 of them.

I was given subscriptions to BBC Wildlife (http://www.bbcwildlifemagazine.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1) and National Geographic (http://www.nationalgeographic.co.uk/) for my birthday last year. I'd quite like a subscription to New Scientist but I can't afford it.

Sorry about the earlier deletion... new phone. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :p

Magazines:

Haunted

This month my interview is in there and an article about The Stone (http://www.seetrailer.com/2010/09/18/the-stone-movie-trailer/) - a movie which was filmed close to where I live. I was invited to help out on the set and it was one of the most fun weeks I've had :)
