It could be coinscidence or it could be real. But every time I look at, or play with an animal and look into their eyes it seems like their speaking to me. Like I know what their saying. Though its not really in words. But its like they are trying to make up the words in my head instead of just saying it in their head and linking it to mine. Though it does seem like our minds link for a second, because there is a moment when it seems like everything around me stops or slows down for a few seconds. Then it goes back to normal. Its sort of odd after I look back on it, but i'm not afraid of it. I've been just noticing how it all works though just recently.

Can anyone do, or have this?
I'd really be interested if anyone had any input.

i feel that everyone on the world has this ability but small kids have it the best. and as we get older we forget about it. And then some people are therian and they work to grow this ability so we have it in the strongest way, but everyone had it at least at one point or another.

i've often thought about this and its kindof a belief of mine that at one time everyone had the ability to understand all things around them, whether it were wolves, cats or birds, but as time went on and people started to think themselves as the true rulers (prolly not the best way of putting it but all i can think of atm) they forgot this ability (not every1 but nearly all) as they no longer really needed or (in my mind) wanted to communicate with them.

Humans have corrupted themselves by forming society and religion to the point that they have limited their perception of their environment to an extremely minimal limit. Because of this, we have severely cut our senses' perceptions as well, such as sight, smell, and taste.

There are cases of people suddenly waking up and having senses nearly equivalent to a dog's. Their hearing dramatically improved, as did smell and the other senses, to a very inhuman level. These people also stated that things around them didn't seem 'real' until they smelled them or tasted them. But after a while, their ability ceased to a 'normal' human's level.

I believe the reason that young children are able to 'connect' with animals is because they have not been pressed down to conform to society yet.

I, thankfully, never gave in to society and am living quite happily being able to communicate with the animals in my life. I know what they think and feel and I can communicate back with them. This ability of mine has improveed drastically over the last couple of years and I'm getting even better at it.

If you really work with it, along with your other senses, you can magnify them by the hundreds. I've gotten quite good at it--I even hear things before my horse does! But when he does, he freaks out, so this comes in handy so I can get him away from 'scary one-eyed one-horned giant purple Arthur eater' monster! LOL (Arthur being my beast of a horse)

Ah. yes. I think I remember talking to a cow at this farm once when I was little. But you know it could've been my imagination. I mean I used to talk to trees and heard cheese moo, so yea. I still have a big imagination. Suppose thats why my dreams are so lucid and loverly. Anyhow. Finally people are replying to my posts. lol At first I thought you were ignoring me. Lol. Anyhow I need to go either play with or put my dog outside. Now, my dog literally talks vocally to me. Only. In dog language. She talks to everyone though.

silence - that's really cool. I heard that some dogs could do that!
