Welcome to the board!

First, I must applaud you on taking the time to do soul-searching. Too often people stumble upon the community and immediately decide to call themselves "weres", only to discover later that they were too hasty in their labelling.

Meditation is one of the best ways to delve into your subconscious and get in touch with your wereside (I use that term loosely), if you indeed have one. This method works for some and not for others. My friend Aurora posted a very good tutorial here (http://pub9.ezboard.com/ftheforestsofthenigh tfrm2.showMessage?to picID=2.topic&index=10) if you want to give it a try.

Do you feel that part of you (mind or spirit, for example) is wolf? Besides the dreams, what makes you believe you might be a were? Just basic questions for you to reflect on. Ultimately you will have to go with what feels right and decide on your own if you fit into our quirky little community. Again, I must emphasize that there are many people who are very much a part of the therianthropy scene even though they don't see themselves as anything other than human.

If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to post them here or e-mail me. I'll do my best to help.

Thanks i will check out that site. I do feel a little wolfish at times and i do happen to mimic animal movements and actions as if they are my own. I don't feel weird doing them either. So like any thoughts might help.

I wish I could help you reach a conclusion, but therianthropy is very personal. As such, its definition and associated behaviors differ from therian to therian. If you're wondering, yes, the things you mentioned could be seen as a sign that you are a therianthrope. I'm not one to judge.

What do you mean by "a little wolfish"?

I speak from experience when I say that dreaming you are a werewolf doesn't mean you are one. On the subject of therianthropy. however, you sound like one. Try looking for the 'Werewolf FAQ' at 'Wereweb', if you want to find more information about therians - it hasn't been updated too often, but it hold a lot more info than most here are willing to type up, myself included.

OK what I mean by wolfish is like when i am confused i tilt my head like a dog would. I also just more to it which i feel i can't say like it is on the tip of my tongue but i don't knopw the words to say it. just i feel wolfish kind of. animalistic maybe. I might not be a werewolf but there is still the posibility i am a different "were" well only time and searching will tell. Thanks for the help.

First off as everyone always says its only you that can tell yourself what you are. Just because you act a certain way or people call you something doesn't mean anything unless you think those things yourself. From spirituality side of things, it is a belief that we all have our own inner gods or apart of one that manifest in certain ways that we can see in reality. Course this all second hand stuff I'm telling you that I got from a pow wow around the campfire. What I suppose my guy was trying to get at is that sometimes you relate to certain things in the enviroment better because we share the same god as the thing we are relating to.
I still haven't found myself, I don't think anyone does. We all just keep taking pathes till were too tired to really give a crap about what we are.

Soul search....best thing to do.

But yes why should we care about what animal we are or what type of vamp or un-natrual thing we are?
Its bullshit...

Well I can tell you from much information gathering I've done in the past 4 years, that the term "werewolf" or "vampire" isn't what Hollywood makes it. Werewolves I would asume, have certan characteristics.

I was reading an article once, about a man who was put in a steel hospital because he claimed to be were. The doors were bulted shut, and he didn't share a room. So... one of the serving mans who brought him his dinner, opened the door and there were claw marks on the steel door, and blood everywhere. The man was dead when they found him.

Another article I read on vamps, is that they're not ones to change to bats, fly or anything. Simply have supernatural powers such as psi vamps. A woman who claimed to be vamp ever stated that that theory is false. (I still think some are sick) They get donated blood and drink it... which I find hard to believe because you can get diseases. Some people have even gone to the lengths of killing people and leaving bite marks in their neck as a symbol of vamps. I believe in psi vamps and such, (experience and evidence), but I think I need more proof of weres existance.

Anywho... back on track *lol*, dreams don't always have to mean something. Maybe those things are just on your mind.

Some people would like to know. Good thing I know I am pure mortal... as most should know by now. But some are confused I guess ~shrugs~
