Also this is under Humor because this story is a fake (albeit a very GOOD fake.) :D

The last bit is what makes me laugh the most:

Sihamoni was quoted before the fight stating that he felt since his fighters out-numbered the lion 42 to 1, that they “… could out-wit and out-muscle [it].”

Unfortunately, he was wrong. :D

Edit: To further discussion, does anyone else have good/funny fake news articles?

2) A Sumo wrestler Vs. Orangutang - Tug of war over pit of mud

I'm just surprised that anyone actually did that show because the animal is always going to win and besides with the eating competition. Maybe the lion didn't know it was a competition or that the other animals didn't try because they aren't racing. It was just a stupid show.

Of course it was. Animals from the wild or that haven't been trained to have no concept of compotiton however the animal did not always win. The giraffe lost and so did the chimp but that was because they didn't understand. Well technically the giraffe would have lost anyway but the chimp just copied the navy seal and so lost. However it did look like he was having a good time.
