For those of you who have been at this therianthropy thing for awhile...

Have any of you noticed if your wolf-self has aged? Has it changed over time?
I was just thinking about that the other day. I first started D-shifting and stuff when I was twelve... and I remember that I was small for a werewolf. I had kind of wiry legs and a soft, steely grey coat and thin little whiskers. Very like what one would expect from a young werewolf. Since then, my wolf-self has become bigger and shaggier, with darker fur and mottles of color in various places (not unlike Xzen himself...). I have thicker claws and a more developed muzzle. It seems that as I went through adolescence, so did my phenotype.

Has this been anyone else's experience?

Interesting point. And does your wolf side age in man years or dog years???

Heres one for you. Animals have absolute focus on the present. They know no past and think nothing of the future. Does your animal side?

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that my phenotype has aged in human years. My werewolf self is *pretty much* full grown, as far as I know. But on that note, I don't really think wolves (or werewolves) have a real structured concept of aging, as humans do. My wolf self grew from a small, young werewolf (just barely able to shift) to one that had come of age. Those are the only two landmarks there are; too young, and just regular wolfy.

As for concept of time, I have noticed that in wolfen form I tend to ignore it. I COULD imagine it, if I had some time to think about it, but most of the time I get excited and can't think of the future. So it's true.
