First of all, I'd like 2 say hello to ervy1 here. i believe that i haf discovered that i am a therian with the phenotyoe of a wolf. I discoverd this a few days ago after looking up werewolfs on the net and finding out a whole comunity. after reading through a couple of articles and forum posts, i looked at myself and realised that maybe i was a therian too. after doing a lot of searching on the net and in myself, i truly believe that i have a wolf aspect in myself. Ive always been fascinated by werewolves and the wolves themselves. ive always had a wish that i could be a wolf. Here are a couple of reasons that led me to this belief. I like being in groups but once in a while like to keep to myself. I believe i haf experienced a couple of dream shifts, one of which i was transforming into a wolf and there are many more such as being quite agile and likeing open spaces. Though i really think that i have wolf inside of me i kinda haf a few questions :o . i was just wondering if any1 has some advice on things such as finding that inner animal and also on how to cause "shifts". I would be grateful for any help u can give me.
Thank you

Well, the sad thing about this website is that you're not really supposed to share things like,"I want to be a wolf!" or "I'm a werewolf." I'm not sure why, but it's apparently in the rules.

Ah, if this is what the rules say then is there anyway I can shut down this thread? Sorry I am new here and still kind of uncertain on how things are run here.

I think its frowned upon because of the many who want to live the fantasy. Frankly its a bit unhealthy as well to sit here and look constipated as your trying to get a physical shift going. WW.com has had way to many nut balls in the past.
However, to the topic at hand.
Definition: Therianthropy is a generic term for any transformation of a human into another animal form, either as a part of mythology or as a spiritual concept. The word is derived from Greek therion, meaning "wild animal", and anthrōpos, meaning "man". Resource (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page)
I personally believe each person has a beast within. No, we dont turn all fuzzy when they come out; however sometimes our additude may change, or we take on personality characteristics of the animal. Sometimes our own beast, is also our totem animal. I believe that in order to touch on the beast within, you must be open, and accepting to the knowledge that it can hold. You dont have to be of any nationality or spirituality to have a 'therian' side.
If you believe your a therian, continue more on your research for information and better understanding of what a wolf can mean for you.
I cant really help you on the shifting part. However I've known a few people to project themselves astrally in the forum of their animal, instead of a human.
Good Luck.

Cryptic Madness has got it right. We welcome all types of people here, and there are many therians that you may find to help you, but we frown upon insistant 'fantasy' talk. There are many people who think werewolves and vampires, for example, are cool, and like to go onto websites and act all desperate and beg people to tell them how to become one. In truth, you don't become these things. Like any form of spirituality it comes from personal searching and revelation. The common misconception about this site is that it is some big werewolf pack or community. Sorry to say, we are not. Because of our domain name we draw a large therian crowd. We strive to be a board that offers a wide range of discussion, therianthropy included. If you have any questions please feel free to contact any moderator.
