p-shift is the act of physically transforming you body to that of an other species. m-shift is the act of transforming you mind and perseption to that of a more primative or animal like state. I have not heard of t-shift.
Where would these be seen? in any movie, tv series, comic book, rpg, video game or novel involving so called "were" creatures, and to a lesser extent vampires. (Vampires occasionally can transform into bats and rarely but not unheard of in modern mythology a wolf, this transformation would be in essence a p-shift.)
M-shift may be seen in the real-world, usually in mentally disturbed individuals. People that m-shift at will are probably not actually m-shifting as in a transformation of mind to an "animal" state but rather forcing them selves to think in a specific manner.

There's also the ph-shift. Phantom shifting is when you feel as if you have animal parts though you really don't. Normally it's just ears, tail, muzzle or the like (Atleast for me it is).
Other than that, and the ones previously stated, those are pretty much all the types of shifts.

well i have that to but i just looked at it as the start of going in to a shift. for me i am a s-shifter spitual. at all times i feel and think like a wolf would. i am constaly awar and redy to attack, but felling like you hve the parts for me its the ears and paws not for hand but feet. normaly i walk on the ball of my foot like a wolf would. this is my opininon on that.

I'd guess that t-shift would be total shift.

Pressing Shift plus a letter makes that letter capitalized.
Ie.
Shift + p = P
Shift + t = T
Shift + m = M

I myself, am a Therianthropic wolf. I have experienced dream shifts and phantom shifts. A dream shift is like a dream, but very vivid, like your the animal or thing. You can even hear, taste and smell. And a phantom shift is were you can feel fangs, or a tail, or paws. Ive had these since I was really young, around 5 or 6 years of age. I didnt know what they were till I hoped across some info. These shifts are very common among Therianthropes.
