If you love something, and hold it close to your heart you usually have some way to state that. Something to represent those things close to your heart. The parts of your soul.
I have a tattoo.

Anyone else have a tatoo or token?

I do! I have a meditation stone with a howling coyote painted on it. I also have connection with tigers (a personal rather than spiritual connection) and I have a little tab of tail that I keep with me when I'm doing something important.

Tattoos... I don't have any at the present time. I will eventually get one somewhere on my arm, and it'll be in the form of a somewhat stylized feline eye.
Not quite the same, but I also have an interest in simply drawing tribal and abstract patterns (and versions of that eye) on my arms and hands. I don't dare to make them permanent, since I want to be able to change the shapes after what I feel.
The whole process of tattoos, marking your skin with represantions of yourself feels like a natural process. The marks are comforting and strenghtening. Warm. As if they provide focus and luck.
Tokens, no. None that I can think of.

I also have a connection with tigers, Oddly, at zoos I always feel I want to crawl right into the inclosures with the tigers. Just curl up and take a nap with one. Desire it, but dont have near the nerve to actually try it.
Though I do know someone that has a Tiger and got to play with her as a cub.

I found a pic of a crescent moon with a howling wolf on the net and in contruction class I made a wooden replica of it. Then in my spare time I took some red, black, and white cloth and sewed the same design. (background black, cresecen moon red, wolf white). Lastly I drew a picture of the design also. All three are hinging on my wall in a triangular formation. At the moment that's all that I have. Though some day I plan on getting a wolf pawprint tatooed(sp?) on the palm of my hand.

Xavious, your paw print idea kicks so much ass that if I saw you in person, I'd just hand you a wad of money.

I want so many tattoos, mainly wolves. I want to feel closer to my theriotype, so I figured that I would get wolf prints on the palms of my hands and the bottom of my feet. I have many wolf tattos that I want, along with some other stuff. To be honest, I think I sometimes love what I am too much.

I have a tattoo of a star on my left arm - I mean I spent 3 years studying astronomy, so figured it suited me ...

I wonder... there's the semi-official therian symbol...

Which would in a way be suitable. But then again I'd rather get a direct representation of the animal than hang up on symbols.
What do you others think about that thingie?

It has a name...I think. Some call it the delta-theta (because it is made of the greek letters delta and theta) or simply the weresymbol. We had a nice fight about it at Shadow's Den. It is nice, but people might see it and use it because they think it is cool or something. I forgot about it...I would get a tattoo of it, but since no one really knows what it means, it'd be a little pointless.

hehe, actually I beleive your miss the point all together. Tattoos are not at all what they mean to other people or even how other people interpit them. They are about what they mean to you. Like anyone is going to understand why I have a paw print on my shoulder. Atleast the majority arent. Many dont even realize that its a wolf paw.

I think you're right. Darn.
People can't seem to recognize the difference betwenn canine and feline paw prints. One has claws, the other doesn't (excluding cheetahs)!

I think it looks awesome. But I also think people would mistake you for a dentist.
