"Not to Judge": You are asking for a lot there in that statement seeing how most people nowadays do judged based entirely on another's religion.

And if I'm asked to cite my source for that comment: At school I can shoved around a lot, especially during the winter months for the SOLE fact that I am Jewish and mostly everyone else is either Christian or Catholic. To have a healthly debate when the topic is religion is in itself miraclous.

And thank you ScarletDevil for transfering your moderation of Poetry to Religion, as I have replaced you :)

And I agree with McKitty, Religion is a topic that is "secretly" banned from pubs and clubs, not official, but start talking of religion or politics and you'll find yourself escorted out. Why? Because religion is notorious for causing brawls. It's a guarantee. Hell, when people in power argue on religion, there's war and millions die. Nothing else compares to the evil behind religion, despite how "good" and "hope" are words religion uses.

I am not disrespecting people's choice in beliefs, but talking about organized religion as a whole. I fail to see why a simple belief has to be an organization to begin with - isn't the religious path supposed to be an individual one?

Anyway, congrats on new moderationship on the new forum. :)

Thanks babe!! :buttrock: I really wanted this forum after I saw what was said in Lindsays forum- I personally like to make fun of religions because they have so many holes and I find it funny that people really follow the laws of a book that we really have no idea if its true or not. Not to sound mean or anything.
I'm glad you got my old forum I think you'll do a nice job

Alright! We have religion, now we need politics, and....

What was the third one you should never start a conversation on lest you are ready for a big long argument? The first two are religion and politics... what was the other?

HHmm ok so this forum is to talk about religion? Uumm like what about religion? I was born and raised Catholic, but I tend to lean towards Hinduism and Buddhism. Just a personal interest and a few common threads of thought I can relate to. But I am still a Catholic too, as long as you treat others as you want to be treated. How does the saying go... there is enough religion in the world to make us all hate each other but not love each other. But actually I think people need to take responsibility for their own actions and not blame said doctrine or a particular faith. Ultimately it's on our own heads our actions fall.
