Hello I found this site 4 weeks ago! And since I put this picture on my hard drive I've experienced some very strange things. ( I really don't recomend anyone saving this pictures unles if you are prepared to feel the werewolf presence lurking around.) Yess I deleted the picture off my pc yet it still comes every full moon. I don't think it means me harm. But it's not like I'm going to go out side now since it's a full moon tonight and very dark lol. YIKES :eek: (I thought I should share my experiences with you all. Even though you'll probably think I'm full of it. I don't lie! But you don't know me.) Just take care treading in the unknown. I know I will from now on. The first night Something was infront of my window, I could hear it. I closed my eyes and thought what do you want with me? It then leaped up onto my deck and that is pretty high.. It ran into my metal gazebo.. and it was loud since I screwed it into my deck. Then the next day my son told me he heard it as well and also saw something big and black leap off our deck. :eek: It's been coming back every full moon. It also walks ontop of my roof you can hear it. I don't know what it wants? Maybe I accidently counqued something up? But I'd love to know what would be that large and agile here in Iowa? Wheather you believe me or not I don't care. I guess you have to experience it to fully understand. Let me know if any of you ever experienced this or if you ever do. I'm sharing my story because this is werewolf.com lol. I'm wondering if it'll be back tonight. I'll post tomarrow if anything else happens. So far it just lurks. has not tore down anything like my horses or the nahbors cows.. Although my nahbors probably wouldn't tell me if it did. Take it easy everyone. Thanks for reading my story

Eventually the heads became untraceable and their current whereabouts is unknown.
Somebody's gonna find them sooner or later, or maybe already has. Also, I didn't read anything about anybody being harmed. Full moon is on saturday the 13th. Just watch yer tail craig, and you'll do fine.

Anywho, there's nowt on Wikipedia about this, I suspect this is an internet hoax to be honest. Though I did find the story elsewhere. Amusingly it claims that Southampton is "about 150 miles south of Hexham" - 250-300 would be more like it. At the very least it's badly researched.

Well, it's midnight here, the full moon was shining brightly before the clouds came, and the image is saved on my computer. Despite this, the only horrifying noise was that of two drunk housemates attempting to sing.

No werewolf/werecat/wereshadow or anything remotely supernatural. Or even animal, for that matter.

That's not too hard to believe, Morgrim. Here's why this is obviously false:

1. The heads were found in England, yet the OP is from Iowa. Why would this beast suddenly decide to go over the Atlantic just to go after a guy who saved a picture on his computer?

2. Only a few sites actually have a page for it. My guess is that it is just an urban legend starting. I'll be waiting for Snopes.com to write an article about it to see if they agree with me.

Because the image is temporary. Not potentially permanent like mine. I say potentially because you can obviously delete it at any time.

Well it's just after 10:00 here and nothing. I've had a big day and am going to bed. I'll probably not wake up if anything visits me during the night. On a side note I got 3rd in the NJ MTN bike state championship race today (just in case that one or two people were wondering).

All that happens is the file gets compressed and moved to a hidden directory you can't access with the DOS (to view it normally requires loading computer information through another computer that has the software capable of finding and retrieving those files).

So yes, whether through cache or not, the file gets stored permanently on your computer. The only thing that actually erases stuff from your computer is strong magnetic fields - not recommended, however.

Ok...erm this is pretty spooky but I saved the picture and forgot all about it. Now on Saturday I was sitting in my lounge with the lights out when suddenly my cat comes in acting all weird. Then the lights in the conservatory flashed on and off, about half hour later they came on again. I turned them off. They came on again and this went on till about midnight. I switched them off yet again and they stayed off.

This happened again last night scaring the **** out of me!!! same time..10pm with my boyfriend there too. I was saying ' shall i turn the lights on, its a little dark in here' and they just came straight on!!!!!! NO KIDDING!!!!. Now my fella turns them off and they come right back on again...this carries on till i say out loud 'I'm going to bed' to which they switch off !!!!

now the lights are on touch sensors, no flip switch!!!!! SPOOKY!!

Maybe it only happens when you forget you have the picture. Considering that you claim to have forgotten about the picture (of which something happened), and everybody else was expecting something to happen (of which nothing happened). So if I forget about the pic, and then something happens, then I remember about it again after this, I will post back here, even if the post has been long dead. It happened again last night....lights came on as soon as I sat down to watch tv..and when I turned the lights off the tv screen sort of froze and crackled for a second. Now it could be an electrical fault..but the tv and conservatory lights are on two separate circuits. Its strange that the lights keep turning on while I am sat down...but when I leave to go to bed they stay off. How odd?

Ok. I have the perfect plan. Im going to send a pic of the two stones to my cousins friend. Im going to tell her to save it somewhere, and forget about it. In one month, thats (June 19), im going to ask her if she has noticed anything spooky about anyhting, like, wierd noises, shadows in the night, mysterious hunched figures who run when they relize that they have been noticed. That way, we can tell for sure. :o

Oh, man, do i got a spooky story for you. Now, i was reading this topic before i went to work, and i saved the pic of the two stones before i went to work, cause they look cool. Now, after work, i was paintballing with my two roommates out in the middle of nowhere, out in the boonies of the town i grew up in. I was sitting there, in absolute silence, with my mask, and if anyone here knows anything about paintball masks, you cant take em off, or you get in trouble, and, they fog up. really bad.

so here i am, minding my own business, sitting up on the boonies, camping, waiting for my two roommates to come out so i could shoot em. Then, out of nowhere, i hear, like, 2 feet to my immediate left, a voice, of an old lady.

Now, by that point, i think i had a heart attack to say the least. It was too dark to make out her face, but i could tell that it has some woman, just out in the middle of nowhere.

now, by now, im thinking to myself, "if she dont shut up, shes gonna give away my position" or something ,so i tell her i had to go.

i started to get up, when i felt this ice cold hand grab mine, and she told me not to leave her alone. now, in about 2 seconds, i was up, and down that path faster then my eyes could register the darkness, and surrouding area. i stopped, and thought i was going to hit a tree, when i turned, and saw this old lady looking me right in the face. I went white, screamed, and ran back towards my car, before i tripped. I curled into a ball, and shoot, before i felt a pair of hands prying my arms apart. I screamed, and pointed my gun and shot. I shot my roommate. He called my other roommate, and they carried me to the car, and we took off.

So, now, im afraid to go to sleep, cause i think maybe that old lady is following me, and maybe i got something... else with me now, cuase even after a warm shower, and wrapped in a blanket, i can feel her cold hand still holding on to me.

SOrry I've been away from the internet a few weeks. I just read everyones replys. I think the woman could have been the witch? who knows. What has been happening to me is a werewolf figure that is not like a shadow .. Something that is big enough to leap onto a high deck and run into a metal gazebo that is screwed down. Why it came to IA is beyond me. I did mention that I am writing a novel about werewolfs. But since all this. I've stopped, it freaked me out too much! Just the other night I had my window open. Yeah I've been brave thinking it's gone. Well I could hear something breathing hard . My body was frozen with fear. I kept thinking okay.. I know you exist so you can go away now. lol Needless to say I have not been sleeping well since all this. (My husband heard what I did but refuses to admit it's something mystical) Figures. Oh well.

Thanks to everyone for being brave enough to try it. (Although this werewolf or entity has not hurt any of my animals, nor anyone!) Be carefull what you wish for though, you might get it. Yeah the latest updates are notta.. ziltch .. Nothing has been happening lately. (That's a good thing) I needed a break from the unknown. :) But I have stopped writing my werewolf story so maybe that was there goal.. Scare me to stop writing about them. Who knows.. maybe I'm wrong. I hope the witch will leave him alone if she scares him that much! Maybe she wanted to tell him something? And about the past life thing? Who knows maybe. I am a strong believer in past lives and what our karma was then could leak into now. They say that if you wronged someone in the last life. They might try to get even with you in this life time. That is really spooky. There was this guy in high school that would pick on me for no reason.. He just hated me . lol and I never put my finger on it. Well our senior year he asked me out. I said are you kidding me? Forget it! You pushed me down stairs in the middle school.. pulled my hair in science class infront of everyone.. and threw frog intestines at me.. He was so cruel all the boys stood up and surrounded him and said Wayne you touch little Angey one more time we'll kick your but right now.. He got beat up during recess. After that he didn't dare even look at me. And had the nerve to ask me out later. I never understood why he felt the urge to pick on me so bad. Maybe karma? I was shy then too.. So It's not like I was egging him on.lol I was minding my own busness.

So yeah maybe I wronged him in a past life who knows.. I think he got his revenge. I hope he stays away from me from now on and into the next life as well.

Hey.. It's been a year.. Since then I've moved .. Now having the Hexham heads on my pc again.. NEW PC lol. We'll see if the werewolf returns? Maybe somehow I am connected to it? Strange. It was never mean.. or did not attack me or the animals. But I sold my horses and ranch home. Moved in town.. I feel safer. I will post if anything happens. Cool. No, I don't think you're lying. What I've learned in this life is that some of the most insane, unlikely things are possible. I saved it on my computer just out of curiosity, too. Thanks for the idea, it'll keep me from getting bored. The full moon is coming up on Thursday, so we'll see. :p

Yup full moon tomorrow, I saved the image can’t really knock something till ya try it can ya. Well hope to see some people’s responses after the full moon. I know I will post im usually out at night anyway on a full moon, its nice and warm out and the moon provides light enough to go by and at night people don’t bother you its nice and peaceful with the occasional coyote bear or big cat. Well as I thought no luck here. Once again a quiet full moon nothing out of the ordinary as expected. Anyone have anything interesting happen? It's probably just a Hoax, and the OP original site did host the fairly rare story as a reference for a film that is in production. Ah the power of reading, research, and not taking things as real at first glance.

Yes the thread is over a year old but it is still an interesting one at that, at least the image is kind of interesting. Either way it doesn’t really matter it is something to talk about, even if the item was cursed I don’t think the image of the item will be cursed unless you believe that a photograph copies the spirit of what it portrays. People say a picture is worth a thousand words I think we beat that with our forum discussions. Looking forward to any more comments. Ok, since discussion is to be had, I wonder why people would think a .jpeg image would have anything spiritually, let alone were related? The heads are just people's faces I've never read anything about fetishes similar to those that were a kind of "were magnet." However, I have seen similar stones around here but an explanation for them here is they were first nation toys, nothing too fantastic.

Um stupid question here wasn’t the full moon on the 31st of May? It sure looked like it and I was outside walking and nothing happened. Or was I mistaken and that was just the harvest moon? Anyway the image is still up it makes a cool screen image on my second monitor so we will still see what happens. Even though I don’t think a jpeg image could be cursed lol, the curse in the code, looks like normal code in it to me.

And yes people have used their cd ROMs as cup holders. It actually works quite well so I took an old one and attached it to my desk with a power supply and viola a hidden cup holder. If you try this I wouldn’t recommend using very very large drinks or ones that will slip through the space.

Technically yes, but the full moon lasts for three days afterwards. And no, that was not the Harvest Moon. The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox.

Hi, It's a full moon here.. At least that's what it says. Well.. maybe you have to believe in them before they will choose to come or not? They aren't stupid. Very intellegent .. I believe they don't lose there humanity when turned into a werewolf.

Last time I staired at the Hexham stones and meditated on them.. asked show yourself to me. I believe in you Come. Try that lol. Be carefull what you wish for.. It could happen. It did for me.
