Does anyone here know one or more therians/otherkin in the area you live in? Do you know what they are but you dont know them personaly? And/or is there a group in your area of multiple therians/otherkin. If not, would you like to join a group? Just wondering and im not advertising to form a group, just want to know if anyone has others near them.

Not a therianthrope myself, but I do live fairly close to someone who identifies himself as one. Fun guy to work with.

I know a couple groups of internet therianthropes organizing "Howls", or generic annual meetings, but most of them tend to be fairly poorly attended or otherwise go bad. None near enough to where I live to justify the travel.

I have met with one therian already who is now a good friend. I know one (another wolf) near where I live, but I have yet to meet him. There is also a dragon nearby, but I haven't spoken to him.

I'm not much into groups, so I wouldn't know if I'd want to join or not.

Minnesota.

Where I live is one of the largest capitals for wiccans which is the middle region of MN. And yes there are several otherkin around this area too, often times I have to work and go to classes with them.

More northern parts of MN there are a few older therianthrop havens and groups. Occasionally they have howls and I've attended one. It was pretty fun, though I cannot say I'd do it again anytime soon.

Northern New Jersey (don't laugh). I know one other therian (wolf/ possible lion) who's a close friend. I'm not sure If I'd be interested in a group, but she might. I prefer just to take my friend down to the river, go into the woods and just hang out there.

New Jersey's filled with em. I know at least two Therians in Jersey and one Otherkin. Somewhere in the middle. Though not personally.

Around here? I only know of one Otherkin but I haven't really met her. She's a Faerie lady and has a store devoted to that (and a few other things).

I know about four therians personally in Texas that are close to where I am. We get together on occasion. There's also a butt-load of OtherKin around this area, too. Vampires, a fae, a dwarf, and a few others. Fun people. :)

There are a lot in Texas. It's just all dependent on where you look.

You'd think living in the NW, I would know tons of therians and organizations for therianthrope and werewolf-beliefs and the such, but I just dont see them. Maybe its just because I'm fairly new to looking? I myself would LOVE to organize a group of like-mind, same age type folks to hike into the columbia Gorge on full moons and celebrate the lunar were-tide. Howling and libations on an occassion like that would cleanse my soul on so many levels and bring me to a new state of peace with the world. Any one in or around portland think that sounds like an awesome idea, by ALL MEANS, CONTACT ME... so far I simply wait and look as best I can for acceptable kin... *shrugs*
