Last year my friends were telling me of these strange expirences they had while sleeping. It started when they were half asleep and half awake where they felt like they were pinned to the bed and someone was sitting on their chest. Something strange was leaning over and no matter what they did they couldn't wake. I know its known as Sleep Pyralis but others expirence the Hag. About a month later the same happened to me, but bofore then it had never happened. Freaked I told them my story and they asked me to descride her and it was similar to what they saw. It happens once and a while to me, I'm sure it has alot to others, but has this happened to anyone else?

Lamia, succubi, daughters of Lillith, banshee, hell even la llorona has had similar relations to stories like this.

Lamia and Liliths often times were seen as mothers who would go about with their dead child in their arms and would feed off the life energy off of people. (mostly infants though, it was a way to account for sudden infant death or illness)

Succubi's feed off their hosts one way or another often times sexually towards the male gender however that has been many different stories and varied gendered victims.

Banshees, in some texts I've found though long losts were like Succubi but fed off of fear.

La Llorona, is the south American Medea figure ghost of a woman where the father of her children spurned her so she killed them and roams the street wailing of her misery. This is one of the more negative versions.

The typical, crone/ hag/ witch/ sybil is also relatable to this. Old stories (most likely fabrications) told of how a town would begin to suffer physically, and emotionally when a "witch" was in the presence of town. People may have also have felt drained as she was feeding off their energies or auras.

Of course all this information is unreliable as fact. However, I post it up as reference to begin a bit of study, all the myths surrounding these figures is so interesting.

sounds truly scary... im not one that likes to experence spirts. And dont get me started on psy vampires, im pretty sure i dated one. I would find myself feeling one way around her and then feeling way different when i was apart from her. Needless to say im glad i dumped her and can regain my sanity. Psy vampires arent to be taken litely.

That's pretty typical with most relationship. Combination of hormones and a whole lotta other stuff.

Maybe the hag represents something you feel is overwhelming and you haven't taken the time to address the issue in your daily life. I also find that I have dreams of not being able to breathe if I sleep on my stomach or if my husband's arm is on my chest.

On another note, there is a spell called "Liar, Liar" that goes somenthing like this: While holding the image of the desired person, say: "See my face, feel the pressure build..." The person is supposed to experience you sitting on their chest telling them what it is you want them to do (ie: "tell the truth" or "stay away from me" , etc.). I can't remember the whole thing. I'm told it works, but you have to let the "desired person" know what to do to stop the spell. It only effects the person when they sleep, and they have difficulty waking.
I've never worked the spell, so I can't say from personal experience whether or not it works. If it does, it could be easily modified to suit the needs/desires of the witch.

Old Hag

The Hag is which is mostly called by "Old Hag" has many reports of the same attacks. I have a few books on it and you can find information online about it. There have been many reports of these same experiences but to me they dont sound harmful at all except the fear sometimes involved when attack. Heres one website that provides a scientific explaination but I beleive theres two answers for this experience and both are right.
