Thought it might be a good idea for people who like to cook! Anyways, I guess this is the place to share your favorite recipe or ask for one.
To start us off, this is my own recipe. It's Thai, mixed with Mongolian with a hint of American in it. You're sure to like it. ;) Customize it however you like; this recipe is very flexible. I often use a pound of pork because I like it, 1/2 lb each of peas, two carrots, one of the huge broccolis cut up, one or two sections of garlic, and 1/2 to one onion.
Maeniel's Stir Fry!
Ingredients:
Pork (or Chicken)
Sugar Snap Peas
Snow Peas
Carrots
Broccoli
Garlic
Onions
Soy Sauce
Hoisen Sauce
Salt
Sugar
Olive Oil
Preparation:
I assume you know how to prepare the peas. If not, simply break the ends and strip the fibers on the ends off. If you want to keep the fibers, fine, but you should still break the ends off. Slice the carrots into small circles, then clice the onions. You may do any of this to your own liking; it's very flexible. Cut the pork (or chicken) into small rectangular pieces. Make sure to cut against the muscle fibers; if you cut the same direction that they're running, the meat will be tougher.
Cooking:
Pour the oil onto the pan and turn the heat on high. Wait until it starts rippling with heat. Crush one section (I'd call it a clove, but I forget if that's a section or the whole thing) and put it in the oil. Add the pork; chicken may be substituted if so desired. Wait until the meat turns white, then add the vegetables and onions. Stir the whole mess (it's stir fry, yo!) until the whole thing is nearly done (about one or two minutes from the end). This takes me about ten to fifteen minutes. Add two spoons of soy sauce and one spoon of hoisen. Stir it for one or two minutes, add a pinch of salt and sugar, stir one more time, and voila! Dinner is served! Serve it with white rice. If so desired, you may put a bit of soy sauce on your rice. I've been eating this for dinner for the past few nights.
Anyways, I know that some of you guys are from Europe and other parts of the globe besides the US... What do you guys eat?

cheese cake:
8 oz sour cream
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz whip cream
1 tblspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
2 graham cracker pie crust
strawberries ( sometimes I use the can option in the baking aile or you can mix it up with rasberries too)
mix cream cheese, sour cream, whip cream, sugar and vanilla in a bowl using a electric mixer. Once the batter is smooth pour it evenly into each pie crust smoothing it out on top. Top it off with the strawberries or raseberries and then chill in the frig over night. Damn good! :p

Yummy recipes so far. Here's one that my grandmother used to make all the time. It's considered a Japanese or Indian dish, depending on how spicy you make it.
Curry Rice
Ingredients:
Pork, chicken, or beef-- cubed
Potatoes-- cubed
Carrots-- sliced
Onions-- sliced or diced
Frozen of fresh peas (optional)
Cooked (sticky) rice
Curry sauce mix (spicy=Indian; mild or medium=Japanese)
Instructions:
1. Prepare all your ingredients. If you're using a rice cooker to cook your rice, then get your rice started now. Defrost the frozen peas if you're using them or shell if you're using fresh.
2. Start boiling the potatoes. Keep an eye on them as you work. You want them to be only halfway to three quarters of the way cooked. Also, boil the carrots. (Or, if you don't mind discoloration in your curry sauce, you can throw them in with the sauce later.)
3. Take your onions, put them in a sauce pan, and brown them. Remove the onions, then fry the meat until the outsides are browned. Drain, but leave the meat in. Add 2- 2 1/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Once it has boiled, add the curry. Allow to melt, stirring occasionally.
4. Allow to simmer. Add the carrots first, then the onions, and the peas. Simmer until the sauce reaches desired thickness. If you want it thinner, add a little more water. (Not milk, as milk will make the sauce taste weird.) For a thicker sauce, either add a little more of the curry mix or, if available, use it in powder form.
5. The potatoes should be added last, 5- 10 mintues before serving.
Serving:
Serves 4-6 people
I recommend you put rice in a deep bowl and then smother it in the sauce. You usually eat this dish with a spoon, but a fork or chopsticks are okay if you prefer. You can also add any other kind of vegetable to curry-- like zucchini-- but don't add anything really watery, like tomatoes. Also, avoid anything that will easily fall apart. In fact, when you put potatoes in curry, they often break up and blend in with the sauce! (Not bad, but it has a weird texture. . .)

Veal or Chicken Marsala
Need:
About a cup of marasala wine
About a half of pound of the meat
Flour 1 cup
Garlic Powder
Pepper
Salt
1/2 cup of chopped mushrooms
Lemon Juice
Basil
Butter (optional)
Olive oil
Steps
Tenderize your meat to a vary fine texture. Veal can esaily break into two pieces, so make sure everything is uniform thickness
Sprinkle the flour, pepper, salt, and some garlic powder with basil on a cleanable surface.
Place the meat in the flour mixture, getting both sides covered in flour.
Melt butter and olive oil into a sauce pan, and start to cook the mushrooms
Heat up the butter and olive oil in a frying pan
Place floured meat into frying pan
Cook until done (veal takes about 1.5 mins, chicken 5), and add the marsala wine and mushrooms to the mixture. Turn to low and simmer
After about 5 mins, the sause will cook down to a gravy
Eat
Makes about enough for one person. Goes great with caeser salad and pasta.

While not really a recipe, I feel like sharing it. Next time you want to make rice crispies squares, use vanilla-almond granola. Depending on your personal tastes you may wish to toss the granola in the oven on a baking sheet to brown in a bit first.
It won't disapoint you!
Also a random cooking tip: Want to remove egg from foods like muffins? Replace it with apple sauce. It tends to do the trick and it tastes mighty cool!

819 calories is a bit on the obscene side. That's like half your daily calories.

You could cut some calories in that by using skim milk cheese and reduced fat beef and pork and such... But yeah, that's pretty much McLasagna.

The Creeper's Corn Salad
I don't use direct measurment for any of the ingredients so just wing it and go by your own taste.
2 Cans of Green Giant "Mexicorn"
A little bit of chopped green onion
A little bit of chopped Bell pepper
A couple of chopped Jalepenos (optional)
A Handful of Grated Cheese
About 2 big spoonfuls of Miracle-Whip
Mix it all together in a big bowl.
You can eat it immediately but it seems to get better if you let it sit in the fridge over night.
You can also garnish it with any kinda corn chip right before serving too, just dump them on top of it all.

This is my quick fix when I feel like salad but not chopping up the ingredients and going through all that:
A couple of roma tomatoes, sliced.
1/2 container of Feta cheese
and Wishbones red wine vinaigrette (as much or as little as you like)
Mix all together....yum!

This is from a kids cookbook of Korean recipes. I don't know if it's anywhere close to authentic, but it's good.
Barbecued Beef/ Pulgogi
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 clove garlic, peeled and finely chopped
4 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1-1/2 pounds sirloin tip, thinly sliced into 1/2-inch by 2-inch pieces
12 romaine lettuce leaves (optional)
1 cup cooked rice (optional)
cayenne pepper (optional)
1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, black pepper, garlic, green onions, and sesame seeds. Add meat and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
2. Preheat oven to broil.
3. Broil or grill meat for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until brown.
4. Serve with vegetable side dishes and rice; or place meat on lettuce leaves with 2 teaspoons hot rice and a dash of cayenne pepper per leaf and roll up leaf.

Here's two of mine, so good :)
Taco dip
16 oz sour cream
16 oz cream cheese
1 package of shredded taco cheese or Mexican cheese mix
1 packet of Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
1/2 head of shredded lettuce (optional)
2 diced Roma tomatoes (optional)
1 half of a can of black olive half's (optional)
Use an electric mixer (it's easier this way) and mix the sour cream, taco seasoning and cream cheese until smooth. Pour into a shallow dish, top with cheese then additional toppings. Scoop with tortilla chips :) I swear by this dip
easy tomato sauce
1 jar of sun dried tomatoes in olive oil
3 cloves of garlic peeled
7 basil leaves (fresh)
Mix all ingredients in blender and tada!!! Awesome easy tomato sauce
