I was just curious... do you eat your meat or are you one to grab for the tofu?

You forgot to add the "omnivore" option, though admittadly I don't think I could live without some meat every now and then.

Unable to add vote to poll. Very, very, few people are either carnivore or herbivore. Most of the human population are omivores - they eat a mixture of both.

A carnivore is somebody whose diet is based on eating mostly or solely flesh (meat). A herbivore (or vegetarian as we have dubbed it for ourselves) eats a diet mostly or solely based on eating mostly or solely vegetation. As omnivores most of us will have a diet based on eating a mixture of both flesh and vegetation.

Unfortunately you don't have a omnivore option nor have you allowed multiple choice so you've basically disregarded about 2.5 to 3 billion plus people from your poll.

I actually consider myself a flexitarian, the new buzzword for vegetarians who eat meat. It's not that I'm a vegeterian or anything, hell if given a choice, I'll go for meat all the way, but for health reasons I do not eat much meat. However, I still hate tofu. I just eat a ton of beans, nuts, fruits and veggies.

My diet is mostly chicken and rice, with other meats and plants mixed in. So neither--I'm an omnivore.

Tofu is evil.
Humans were meant to eat meat.

Anyway I prefer to eat a mostly meat diet with the occassional green thing thrown in however due to recent changes if it isn't liquid I don't eat it.

I'm a vegetarian, thinking on vegan. I eat a lot of soups, especially lentils. I eat fish, squid, and crustation, though. It never makes a difference in what I eat, I'm already extremely health-consious.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, why are they made of meat?

I eat just about everything.

To this day I can't understand how vegetarians can justify eating fish, It's hardly a species of plant...

I eat anything small enough to be chewed, so I'm an omnivore and proud of it. :D

I eat fish, squid, and crustation, thoughThen how can you be a vegetarian? They're meat! And thinking on VEGAN? That means means you can't have anything of or relating to any kind of meat or creature.

If eat fish et. al. you're not a vegetarian. A vegetarian has a solely plant-based diet (as in you only eat vegetation).

Well I should go with "all things in moderation".

However to people who eat meat, personally I say if you're going to eat meat, then you should really eat all forms of meat, anything which has a pulse should be on the menu ... kitten pie (http://msmeow.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_msmeow_ar chive.html) anyone?

Veggie all the way!

And tofu rocks.

Tofu does rock. However my body demands large quantities of animal protein that I have not yet figured out how to remove. So until then, I'll go about having entire meals composed ot animal.

Note: Yes I eat other things too, I don't eat all meat all the time. But I've never had an actual meal free from animal stuffs, but have had many a meal made up of nothing but meat. Not even a side. I get my meat with a side of meat.

I realize that... this is more of a smart-ass type poll. But if you wish, you can ask someone to kill this thread.

I eat meat with EVERY single meal! While I occasionally have an apple or something, meat is the mainstay of my diet.

And youve got it all wrong- If were not supposed to eat animals, then why are they just so damn tasty?! :D :D :D

Actually I can't live without meat, I like to try it raw, but I can't eat as much then. There's meat in ALL my meals. I'm still a scrawny loser though :(

I had no idea there were so many werewolves that are vegetarian.

Carnivore here & proud :D Dont get me wrong i love veggies too, nothing like a juicy steak/chicken with salad ^^.

Eating household pets is not the same whitecrow lol, although in Vietnam they do eat puppies, they practically kill em in household right before dinner, saw this a long ass time ago in one of the faces of deaths video. Also have friends who traveled the globe & they have some gag stories on whats on the menu in alot of countries.. all of you would be surprised on how the rest of the world eats.

Anyways nothing like a lil propaganda :p

Note for vegetarians out there. A genetic experiment resulted in a food material dubbed "flish" It is literaly grown from fish cells into large chunks of fish-like meat. It doesn't taste very good, but it is sustaining, and it doesnt require that many resources to make. It could prove useful in the future for food shortages, or just for vegetarians. Or space travel.
