WASHINGTON - A terrifying FBI interoffice memo reveals that the U.S. Government not only believes in vampires, but considers them a major threat to our country!

The memo was leaked by an FBI staff member who came into its possession during the course of his work. The source asked that his name not be revealed.

The note is written in brief, broken sentences but its meaning is chillingly clear : "Here is info you requested. 60,000 vampires currently active on America's streets. Mostly large urban areas. At least 9,000 American lives claimed so far this year. Number of deaths likely to climb as creatures are becoming bolder.

We recommend begin National 'War on Vampires' immediately."

FBI officials will neither confirm nor deny the information contained in the memo, but vampire expert Charles Gulton says he believes it's high time the government starts taking actions against what he and his colleagues have said for years is the most serious problem facing America.

Gulton heads up Vampire Hunters, a 294-members group of physicians, researchers and detectives who specialize in tracking vampire activity in the United States.

"The greatest weapons these bloodsuckers have are secrecy and misinformation," says Gulton. "Most people believe vampires are just phony Hollywood-created monsters. But nothign could be further from the truth. They represent a clear and present danger to us all!

Vampires have existed in the written histories of every country in the world since the dawn of civilization. They crave human blood and are highly intelligent.

Our police sources in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York tell us the vampire prowl those cities by the thousands. So far, most victims have been homeless vagrants. Since no one cares about them anyway, police are reluctant to face ridicule by officially reporting the deaths as vampire-related.

But the victim profile is changing. Since nothing has been done to stop them, the vampires are becoming brazen, less disciminate.

Last month, a prominent New York socialite was attacked and killed as she walked from her private limousine to her home less than 20 yards away. Pathologists found fang punctures in her neck and every drop of blood drained from her body. It's my profound hope that the FBI takes this memo seriously and begins taking action soon on this national crisis."

I have no comment on this at the moment. Except for one word to, "We recommend begin National 'War on Vampires' immediately,": WHAT??
What do you guys think.

Personally, I think the government has no idea of what it's getting into. They should just quit while they're ahead.

And you're trusting a site based on freelance, bored, writers (note writers not journalists) that doesn't include anything to back up anything mentioned and have no affiliation with any journalists, agencies, or investigatory services?

It's false.

You're kidding me... seriously...

Despite the fact that this article IS fiction (saw ultraviolet and that is one of the articles used to hype the movie), you go and melodramatically imply that you know more about something than an organization that makes it's business about getting the facts and just the facts. FBI would know what they were getting into and they would know of a plan of action for it to be dealt with

Good god, mass media has gotten to everyone's head. Yeah that's a funny statement when in application against hair brained conspiracy theories.

60,000 vampires and there are only 9000 deaths attributed to vampires? That doesn't even add up. Sorry but more people get killed by car accidents and food poisoning every year. If there were vampires and these were the deaths caused by them they aren't even worth notice by the government.

The article is a fake though so everyone can relax and put away your aluminum neck guards.

Come on, I mean, who doesn't know that this article is fake! It practically has fake written all over it! I'm just making comments, isn't that what this website is for? Discussing things in a civilized manner!? Are people going to continually attack me because I comment on something!?

had to get that out of my system...

Anyway, I wasn't implying that I knew more than then FBI, simply that they have bigger problems and to get their heads out of the clouds and back down to earth and try and help people. People are so paranoid these days they'll beleive anything if it says something about the government in it, and as far as the facts go, I'm not the person to turn to for that because I hate giving people misinformation.

lmao wow thats messed up. Poor homeless people. But the government have no clue what they are going into. This staement might be false because people get bored and like to make stuff up. But if it was true then there should be an outbreak of chaos or soemthing but then again people dont believe hardly anything untill they see it for themselves.

Interesting. All fake but interesting...

I don't beleive in a word of this but I still like talking about it. Let's all pretend that this is real for a moment. I'm not saying it is, let's all just have some fun. How would you use this information?

If this was true, then there would be stuff like it on all of the news channels. So there would be a place where we would get information. I would do research and try to join whatever group that dedicated to killing vampires. They aren't a problem now but it would only be a matter of time until they become worse. So it would be best to kill them before they become too dangerous to society.

On the other hand, the vampires may just be strange but innocent versions of Humans. Maybe some kill the bums while the others drink animal blood or anything but Human blood. And the governemnt wants to kill them all just because they feel threatened or maybe most of them are religious. So I would also keep that in mind....

Okay, I had my fun. Feel free to insult me or join me. Whatever make you happy. Just keep in mind that I didn't say that I believe thsi stuff. Cheers.

Vampires = Bullshit, I never seen anything close to proof about this, so this doesn't even fool a 5 year old.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! I'm so sorry to bust your bubble but the modern Vampire or Vampyre however you spell it does not drink blood. It sucks energy. Now I'm not asking for you to believe me when I say this but let me give you an example:
say your walking some where and your full of energy. Bouncing around or doing what ever you do. You walk into a room or a store or some where. And you feel tried. Not like your going to die from exhaustion. But just a little tired. And the more you stay in that place the more tired you get. I'm not saying that everytime you run out of energy theres a vamp around but I am saying that these things do happen. Most people don't even know that they are doing it. It just comes natual. But other decided to practice. To get better at this strange art. I'm Wiccan so I know all about magick and energy. Just putting in my opinion. So please don't get mad.

By the way... you know they do the same thing on Vampyrc web site's right. They talk about lycain's or werewolf's... so I wouldn't be to cocky.

Sincerly

Actually, that's not true. I know several vampryes personally and they are all blood drinking vamps. They don't live completely off blood, but its a very important part of their diet. (2/3 of their meals are blood based.)

So when you say that all modern vampyres are psy vamps, that's not true. So just watch what you say.

Ok let's all try to say this together.

"There is no such thing as a vampire."

While there are people who dress in black and pretend to be creatures of the night and some who drink blood and others who claim to be draining off the psychic energy of the human population, the truth is that there are no real vampires. By vampire I mean :

1. a preternatural being, commonly believed to be a reanimated corpse, that is said to suck the blood of sleeping persons at night.

2. (in Eastern European folklore) a corpse, animated by an undeparted soul or demon, that periodically leaves the grave and disturbs the living, until it is exhumed and impaled or burned.

Not by book defintion, no, there is no such thing. But there is people out there who are true vampyres, not just depressed teens who think they are gothic and do it just to be cool. I'm talking about people who have to do this to survive.

That's all I'm going to say because I don't feel like getting into an argument right now. Try again tomorrow, maybe I'll be in a worse mood tomorrow.;)

I'm not going to say anything big, because I'm not going to type another one of my long paragraphs. (I do that a lot.) I'm just going to say, watch your words. And I'll say the same thing about vampires as I did about werewolves, prove it that they DON'T exist.

More proof and better proof can presented against the case of existence. Step up and practice as you preach, you have some damn convincing proof and desire to convince than present it.

Vampires are not undead but there are a lot of people that believe themselves to be vampires just because they can drain people of energy or blood. In nearly every case bring 'em to a doctor and you find out they're human.

That whole saying about proof bugs me, albeit very true, it's the basic juvvy come back much like "I know you are, but what am I?"

Well, a kind of vampire that comes from Anne Rice books may not have been proven to exist but I believe that a person is whoever that they believe that they are. In a psychotic way, at least.

Whether a person sucks energy or blood, either way, they obtain their nutrients from other people. So I think that they count as real vampires. Or if they suck blood for the heck of it, I still say that they count. After all, what else would you do if you were a Anne Rice or White Wolf vampire? They may be not like the ones in myth but they are still creepy and in my book, they count.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I beleive that these goths who drink blood or suck energy count as vampires to me. That's just my opinion.

I don't believe in the truly undead vampires but I don't beleive that they don't exist either. My point is that I always consider everything. Vampires, Jesus, God, Werewolves, Aliens, Allah, Moses, whatever. None of us know everything about the universe. Especialy when it comes to stuff that you can't prove or disprove. So like I said before, I don't beleive, but I do consider.

And on one last note, there are some people who are born with a problem that actually makes their skin hurt when in contact with sunlight. And there are others who have a craving for blood because their flesh really will....I can't think of a word for it. Let's just say that they'll become really really ugly. Granted, both of these diseases are very rare but the point is that they exist. Nothing like coming from the dead but it's somethin'.

I wonder how often it is that a werewolf or vampire comes across this site, reads what we have to say about them, and laughs their head off at us. Believers and non-believers alike, we probably all give them a good read. Course...would a real werewolf or vampire have the time to get on the internet and check out sites like these?
