I had a dream that my friends and I were preparing some sort of raid on a building downtown. For some reason, in this world many people still carried a sword. I had never learned to use the sword, because (as always) I was a werewolf. Having claws and some really sharp fangs, I had never seen a need to learn to use a sword: on top of that, no school would teach a werewolf to use a sword, because they were considered barbarians and witless beasts. So a friend of mine (who's into ninjas, IRL, BTW) was going to teach me to use a sword. The lesson went pretty badly, because I'm a firm believer in brute strength and I thought it would be a good idea to swing the sword like a bat. Anway, the day ended and we had this raid to go to the next day. We were going to sneak in and steal something, but I don't remember exactly what.

Anyway, I decided that I would go out and get a wicked awesome sword to use, because that would probably help my somewhat deficient fencing skills. Now, there were two fine swords on the hill at the center of town, in front of the Town Hall. One was the sword of an ancient hero, who had helped build the town. The sword was worn and old, but the blade was still fine and it was a noble weapon. The second sword was one that had belonged to an infamous villain who had destroyed the old town that had stood there before the current one was founded. It was a magnificent weapon, with a wicked razor blade, but it was an ignoble weapon and was considered dishonorable. Humans could not remove the blades from the rock they were in, but according to legend a 'demon' such as I could do it (althought I suspect that was merely because no humans were strong enough to pull the swords out). I took both swords at the time, but ended up adopting the bandit's blade later on.

It seems to me that that means something, but I don't know exactly what. ANy thoughts?

How to use a blade can be a useful skill in real life, simply because you learn how to move more quickly and quietly. Of course, there's no reason to use a sword in real life, but it can be fun.

This dream could mean a lot of different things. Excluding Sigmund Freud, who almost everything relates to family problems, most people think that dreams involving swords have to do with success and control.
Maybe it's the end result of a hundred anime films, in which case, the swords were a express the superego/id conflict - upper mind vs. lower mind. In that case, think along the lines of control over the mind, acceptance of both what you are and what you want to be (even if you only use the bandit's blade, you had the noble one), and acknoledgement of more basic instinct and their power. That's a little strange, if only because you wanted a sword to improve you ability, but that might be to represent the search for information.
Or it might be showing the need for power or control in life, represented by your substandard skill, in which case you'd be looking for ways to become stronger through outside sources, but you don't seem to be that type of person to me, and even if that is the case, the dream says that it's all working out anyway.
Anyway, those are just a couple guesses. I'm no shrink.

I had a dream about fuedal era tactics
I was on a field in japan, traveling because my wife was away in some kind of colledge getting a doctor degree in zoology or such.
And I saw out the corner of my eye that two men were battling in the trees some 20 feet up. I looked harder and I noticed they were both ninjas. ( I have an obsession with learning ninjutsu and becoming a master and finding an old ninja friend I met in highschool who had to dissappear) I recognize one of them as pattrick an old friend I havent seen some twenty five years, and I see he is having trouble so I jump up into the tree and start climbing weakly since the tree barely has branches and is way the hell up there.
Other ninja I with the dude who is fighting Pattrick attack me with shuriken and blowdart and kill me or so they think.
I change and run up the tree and take em out of the picture then I wup the lead enemy ninjas ass by puncturing his brain with the knife he threw at Pattrick -which I caught in mid air as It was about to slice into my pall- and decapitated his torso with a hook kick.
Well long story short; we chatted, caught up on old times and then chilled on a Mountain overlooking Koga, then we sent pictures of us having fun to my wife over my laptop.
WHAT DOES THIS DREAM MEAN?
