I am doing a report about Werewolves in school, and I was wondering if anybody had some things I should know, such as:
Related Myths
Records
Encounters
Versions of the Myth
etc.

If you have any links to any good Werewolf sites that would be nice.

If you wish to reply, post here, PM me, or e-mail me at midnightburst@yahoo. com.

You can read the entire myth and mythology section.
Then you can go to this place with lots of books, it's called a library. If you need a list of books that have werewolf content then you can mosey on down to the Literature forum where there is a Stickied thread on both fiction and non-fiction books about werewolves, lycanthropy, and shapechanging.

When teachers assign a project they want you to do the research so that you become familiar with how to find resources on your own.

Well, I won't argue to your first paragraph, but the second paragraoh is one that I find offensive. Don't think that this would be my only source, I only wished to get some personal opinions and versions and such.

"Versions" are part of the resources you should be already looking into. People can't really give viable sources of info except third-party links which you should find yourself.

"Opinions", from other people cannot be used in your work as it is technically cheating plus illegal (copyright concerns, lack of permission, etc).

Hey, you have no right to be offended when you're planning on taking ideas down from a message board. Even if you site your sources and such, or give members credit to their opinions what does that look like on a paper?

"Bluewolfdong69 said on www.werewolf.com that shifting was indeed possible and if I traveled to the Ozarks to meet him I would see for myself how man could really become wolf."

Talk to your teacher or librarian they are a great deal of help when giving ideas for sources. And avoid the internet as much as possible unless it is in an academic database or has a .edu at the end of an address.

Does anyone find it ironic that this person's first name has Moron in it?

ok ok I know I'm mean, I didn't give you all of the answers. But asking for personal experiences and asking for sources are two different things. You asked us basically to do your homework for you, not ask us what we think. If you wanted to do say a poll on people who believe in werewolves or wanted a feeling on the consensus of believers vs non-believers then you could have done that in a poll format. You also could have made out a questionaire for people to complete in order to show the public feeling on werewolves. Since polls are usually anonymous then yes you could have used the forum for an addition to your project. However you didn't do this, you asked us to find your sources for you.
