That's one of the signs of being a werewolf! *Gasp* GET HER!
(See how I got this puppy back on topic? Even if it is a stupid topic and should no way have gone on this long. But I suppose it's like a honey trap for tards. They just can't resist to dive in.)

I would like to apologize in advance for 1)Dragging up a semi-old thread. 2) Spelling, Grammar, and Capitalization errors. I've became too accustomed to internet slang.
Granted I'm new to WW.com Ive read about werewolves and the like, and I'm looking for an opinion. I think I've experienced a few out of the ordinary things in my life and I think they should be shared just for general knowledge. I don't claim to be a "were", but at the same time I'm not sure. If I do happen to be, I'm okay with that, and If I'm not, I'm still indifferent. Onto the actual contents of the post.
I've experienced the following:
-Heightened senses.
-Accelerated healing.
-Affinity for canines.
-I enjoy raw/rare meat over cooked.
-Heightened Strength
-Sexual aggression
-I dislike meeting new people.
-Territorial
Ive also experienced odd occurances of:
Waking up in the morning with thorn or briar like scratches covering my arms and legs
Multiple instances of camping with friends, where I was asked where I went near dawn. And to my knowledge I slept through the night without waking. (For future reference, I have never been known to sleep walk)
I have woken with dried blood underneath my fingernails and on my hands. I don't have any idea if it was my blood, or something elses but it could very well be my own.
There are more, but those are the most prominent of them all.
Those are the only things that I can recall. I don't know if it means anything or not. I think it would be best to share my experiences as to further the general knowledge of the people not to mention help get this thread back to its original topic. Again, I apologize for bringing up a semi-old thread but I think its better to do this than start a completely new thread. And I apologize for my Spelling and grammar mistakes among everything else. If anyone wants to know more details just ask, and Ill tell you whatever you'd like to know, and if anyone has any input on my experiences I'm curious as to what other people think rather than to just what I think.

Your post was fine, and this thread was only 9 days dead, far from being an old thread.
If I do happen to be, I'm okay with that, and If I'm not, I'm still indifferent.
My opinion: Nope. Also, if you are indifferent as to whether or not you are a werewolf why are you asking for random people's opinions?
I've experienced the following:
-Heightened senses.
-Accelerated healing.
-Affinity for canines.
-I enjoy raw/rare meat over cooked.
-Heightened Strength
-Sexual aggression

Normal, normal, normal, normal, normal, normal, normal, normal.
Ive also experienced odd occurances of:
Waking up in the morning with thorn or briar like scratches covering my arms and legs
Could be sleepwalking. Hint: just becuase you aren't "known" for sleepwalking doesn't mean you don't do it.
Multiple instances of camping with friends, where I was asked where I went near dawn. And to my knowledge I slept through the night without waking. (For future reference, I have never been known to sleep walk)
This makes me pretty sure that you're either sleepwalking or getting up to go pee in the woods or something and then going back to sleep with no recollection of what happened. A lot of times when you come out of a deep sleep you will fumble around and not even remember waking up.
I have woken with dried blood underneath my fingernails and on my hands. I don't have any idea if it was my blood, or something elses but it could very well be my own.
Ummm....I think this one's bull. As a human you would not be able to catch anything with your hands, let alone be able to get a good enough claw in to draw blood. As a wolf or hybrid thingy you would probably behave more like a canine than a feline, using your teeth not your claws.
I think it would be best to share my experiences as to further the general knowledge of the people not to mention help get this thread back to its original topic.
This thread was not originally about finding out if you are a werewolf. It was meant to compile a list of mythological signs of being a werewolf. It was only when werewolf wannabes like yourself jumped in that it was twisted to become a list of how to know when you're a tr00 w3r3. So no you aren't bringing it back to the original topic because in this long post you contributed nothing at all, let alone anything that remotely resembled the actual topic.
I'm nicer to you because you actually could spell and managed to maintain SOME amount of maturity in your post. A note to all you tr00 w3r3s: take a hint from this person. If you wanna claim you are a werewolf at least learn to spell and present backup to your claims.

I think you want to be a werewolf. You are not.

Thank you for being easier on me than most for the fact that I tried to use correct grammar and spelling.
I was really posting that to help the public tell the difference between the actual "signs" of being a werewolf and what could also be normal. Most of the web pages I've read list that many "signs" and more and similar happenings. I guess I was also looking for a answer to how valid the information from those web pages was in the process.
As a side note, Thank you for your input. If I seem a little argumentative i don't mean to be, but I am glad i didnt get a reply like " D00d ur k3wl " or anything like that.

I've recently been going through old threads finding supposed signs of being a were-something, and making a comprehensive list of what they are and why they are perfectly normal.
Hopefully when I'm done someone will pin it in this section for future reference.

Signs of Being a w3r3w01f:
Bad Spelling and/or Grammar
Horrible Acne
Being Horrible At Sports (Even though you are really super strong AND fast because you're a w3r3w01f)
Depth of thought at the age of fourteen that is ignored just because everybody doesn't understand that you are contacted by spirits/aliens.
Parents who are "out to get you."
Growling at people after reading about Therianthropy online.
Beware! If you have any of these signs, you too may become a w3r3w01f.
Hell when did I break a thousand posts?

As far as I remember, the alleged werewolf does not remember his lycanthropic romp but I would think his son would be a werewolf as well since he shares his DNA :)

Ok you guys. So I'm new to this thing. OK... so... do werewolves have horrible mood swings??? Plus, if anyone really is a werewolf, do you know how many people would bow down to them because they're all mighty and powerful??? IDK... I'm just thinkin'. I mean, everyone wants to be different.
Plus, with everyone else's comments... like all the side-effects of lycanthropy... it's weird.
And would you know if you're a werewolf if you wake up... *dare I say it?* nude? Definently after you MADE SURE your clothes were on. Just wondering. And the acheing muscles..... *hmmmmm*

No, they're normal people.
Plus, if anyone really is a werewolf, do you know how many people would bow down to them because they're all mighty and powerful???
The ability to shift is the least impressive of their skills. Theurgy is more important.
like all the side-effects of lycanthropy... it's weird.
Lycanthropy is a mental disorder. Actually being a werewolf has the side-effects of being well-educated and owning a tau robe.
And would you know if you're a werewolf if you wake up... *dare I say it?* nude?
Shifts happen only on purpose.

Yes vampires are real. Welcome to the world of magick; here are your types of vampires:
Energy Leeches - Spirits which survive by draining energy from the living. That makes them dangerous to people with no knowledge of magickal defense, but anyone with even a small amount of knowledge on the subject should be able to get rid of them - they are fairly weak and have no real though process, Just the drive to consume.
Incubi/Succubi - Sexual vampires. Sure you'll be tired the next day but not any more tired than if you'd had a multi-hour sex-fest with a manifest person. They feed off of the energy naturally released during sex and are not dangerous.
Psi Vampires - People who do not produce enough energy to survive on their own. They absorb energy from those around them, which is not usually dangerous. How much they drain depends on the energy deficiency of that particular individual, and those that drain large amounts can be dangerous if kept in close proximity to someone weak or sickly for long periods of time unless they have learned how to control who and what they feed from.
Blood Vampires - NOT real vampires. They simply have a severe iron deficiency which in the past was best cured by the consumption of blood as there weren't iron supplements available at the time.

Yes. magick is just an opinion, if you please. If you don't believe in it, it will not work before you... as a matter of fact, it won't work at all. If you do, it will work in you, for you, against you, all around you.

Well while in human form, the humen's eyes, in the dark will grow a bright blood red. He or she will have shaggy hair, long and strong fingers. Also having pointed teeth end usually keep to themselves. Like me. Keep in mind that the red eyes will only take effect in TOTAL darkness. no light allowed. OK?

Hieghtened senses
Sexual aggression ( I think I am one for this reason alone :D )
Wariness of crowds and a lot of people
Hieghtened strength
cravings for raw meat
territorial
heals faster
definately. Not to mention:
Good reflexes
strong (without working out)
solitary in society
I myself fit al of these excpt for the raw meat thing. I prefer cooked or barbequed.

It's possible. I've known people to help manage a farm, driving tractors, working with animals and all that stuff at aged 13.
Plus there can be small part-time jobs for young kids at zoos, too. It won't mean handling animals, but it means you get to see them close-up more often and help out.

I belive in werewolves (I think I might be one)
The signs of being a werewolf:
A sudden desire to have sex with anything
Depression
unappealing to other people (sexually)
Anti-social (unless there's a pack)
More friendly to animals than humans
Very teritoryal
Growls when its mad, teased, or prevoked
Very violent when angery
Has a unwilling desire to kill (thus anti-social)
Usually is a vegetarian when in human form
Does crave meat once in a wile
Usually runs or walks on their toes
Has some minor physical disorder (nothing really noticable)
Constant mood swings
Very fond of the moon (not changing them, but it keeps their moods in balanced, like it moves the tides of the water)
More active at nite
Can not stand to be in one place for a long time
Over pretective of the envornment
Over defensive
Very creative
Underdeveloped and at the same time very enhansed senses
Great revflecties when it comes to food
Easy loss of temper
Very tired most of the day
Hair grows in an odd pattern (nothing weird, just unusual)
The time to shave is unpredictable
Doen't go through much physical changes when in transformation.
This can apply to both werewolves and clincal lycanthrope patient.

I belive in werewolves (I think I might be one)
You're not.
A sudden desire to have sex with anything
Sounds like a normal teenage boy to me.
Depression
Another common teenage problem. Seek therapy.
unappealing to other people (sexually)
This is a new one. Has it ever occured to you that maybe you're just not getting all the girls because you're not appealing to the squealing little preteen girls? And that that DOESN'T mean you're some super special werewolf?
Anti-social (unless there's a pack)
Why does everyone attribute this to werewolves? Again, many teenagers are "anti-social" because they are ostracized in high school. I was considered anti-social also because I didn't fit in. But that doesn't mean I'm a werewolf.
More friendly to animals than humans
Not an indicator of anything special either. Many people prefer animal company over human company. It's called being an animal lover who is depressed with current human society.
Very violent when angery
Why does everyone have to blame anger on some primative animal side? Maybe you just have an anger problem. Animals are not always seething with anger, attacking everything in sight.
Has a unwilling desire to kill (thus anti-social)
Signs of someone who should REALLY seek therapy.
Usually is a vegetarian when in human form
Oh noes, I was also a vegetarian for 7 years!! I must be a werewolf! An increasing number of teens are vegetarian. It's not uncommon anymore.
Does crave meat once in a wile
Few vegetarians don't.
Has some minor physical disorder (nothing really noticable)
Not sure what you mean here. And anyway, why would this indicate a werewolf? Wouldn't they heal from a physical disorder instead of suffering from it?
Constant mood swings
Common of depression and most teens have these.
Very fond of the moon (not changing them, but it keeps their moods in balanced, like it moves the tides of the water)
Lots of people love to gaze at the moon. It's beautiful, strange, and unreachable to most. Is there any reason to NOT stare at it?
More active at nite
Common of teens. Most stay up late and sleep into the late afternoon (when able).
Over pretective of the envornment
If you're vegetarian because of the way animals are treated, and prefer animal company, wanting to protect the environment would logically follow. However it doesn't mean that you're a werewolf. Otherwise every PETA activist would be changing under the full moon.
Over defensive
Very creative
More teenage traits.
Underdeveloped and at the same time very enhansed senses
This is an oxymoron.
Great revflecties when it comes to food
Please use spell check because right here I don't even know what this word is supposed to be.
Easy loss of temper
Anger management problem. A pretty common problem.
Very tired most of the day
Yeah cause you stay up late and get up at 6 am for school. Duh. You're sleep deprived just like every other teen in the nation.
Hair grows in an odd pattern (nothing weird, just unusual)
Explain. Also, weird and usual mean the same thing.
The time to shave is unpredictable
.... Umm...lol. I don't even know what to say to this one. Do you just randomly sprout a beard in class? Go a week looking clean shaven? Or do you just forget that you didn't shave that morning?
Doen't go through much physical changes when in transformation.
Wouldn't that mean you're pretty much a wolf normally?
This can apply to both werewolves and clincal lycanthrope patient.
Guess what? They can also apply to the vast majority of teenagers and adults alike. Grow up. You aren't a werewolf. All but about 3 of these things either don't make sense or are not abnormal at all.
PS. Yes I realize this is a long post and I just ripped apart everything you said, but I'm not quite in the mood for tr00 w3r3s who can't spell this morning.

A sudden desire to have sex with anythingIt's not a sign of being a werewolf, it's a sign you're going through puberty and/or have a high sex drive.
DepressionCommon, normal, not likely to apply to a werewolf either.
unappealing to other people (sexually)Common, and has nothing to do with werewolves in any way shape or form.
Anti-social (unless there's a pack)That's senseless. You're anti-social unless in a social situation? Care to explain that?
More friendly to animals than humansThat's a sign of liking animals. Actually, not likely to be a sign of a werewolf since other animals are typically either competition or food - neither of which are friendly terms.
Very teritoryalSo are humans. In fact, we're more territorial than almost any other mammal.
Growls when its mad, teased, or prevokedSo do most people, it's a natural reaction. Has NOTHING to do with werewolves at all, except in the way it applies to every animal on the planet.
Very violent when angeryOMFWTF, somebody getting violent when angry?! What a concept! [/sarcasm] You are aware that's a natural reaction for almost every living thing on the planet on some level, right?
Has a unwilling desire to kill (thus anti-social)That has nothing to do with being a werewolf. In fact, it's more of a sign of NOT being one. Typically in legend the werewolf has a more primal and natural mind akin to that of a wolf. A wolf, nor any animal beyond human, has some unnatural desire of killing. Animals beyond human kill because of territory, food, or retaliation. They never do it because they feel they want to, it's generally because it's either kill or be killed, or for food - because its hard to eat something when it's trying to attack you and flee. Of all the animals on Earth, humans are the number 1 for senseless killing. So if anything such a desire for killing proves humanity rather than werewolfism.
Usually is a vegetarian when in human formThat makes no sense. Wolves are carnivores, and humans are omnivores. If anything it'd make you eat more meat. But wait, immense craploads of us do! Dietary habits are not signs of much when you're an omnivore. There are people who's idea of a fine meal is a plate of bugs. We're omnivores, our dietary habits show nothing more than - we want to eat.
Does crave meat once in a wileSo do all omnivores and carnivores on the planet. It means nothing beyond - you're alive.
Usually runs or walks on their toesWhy? The only reason why canines walk on toes, is due to being a quadruped. Most quadrupeds have similar designs - it's more efficient for speed. In a human, it can cause you injury, slow you down, and would be more difficult to balance. As bipeds our toes can't handle the weight for any long periods. So, what, you're saying if we see people barely able to walk from injured toes we're to assume werewolf? Do wolves often walk upright on their hindlegs? No, so why would a werewolf person walk on their toes? If they felt it necessary to crawl on all fours everywhere then perhaps that's a "sign" of something. Although I'd bet more "mentally unstable" than "shapeshifting superbeast".
Has some minor physical disorder (nothing really noticable)I'd imagine transforming into a wolf and breaking all known laws on physics and biology to be more than a "minor" physical disorder.
Constant mood swingsThat's not a sign of anything. Most people, and animals, on the planet can have constant mood swings either temporarily, routinely, or permanently. Animals, including humans, are emotive beings. So basically it's just a sign your brain is working.
Very fond of the moon (not changing them, but it keeps their moods in balanced, like it moves the tides of the water)It does that for most people but that's us as philosophical beings. Generally wolves rarely give a crap about the moon. They're going to pay interest to a full moon sometimes because it's the best light they'll ever get during their hunting time, so it's easier for them to get their food.
More active at niteNot a sign of anything. Neither human nor wolf is particularly bound to the effects of melatonin. A wolf is predisposed to nocturnal habits while human to diurnal, however there's hundreds of exceptions in either. We can alter our nocturnal/diurnal patterns any time we wish, and some people are personally predisposed against general predisposition - in short, some people are literally born nocturnal. Being active at night is neither a wolf, or human, thing and therefore has no correlation of any significant to status as a werewolf.
Can not stand to be in one place for a long timeDefinately NOT a werewolf sign. In humans it's varied erratically, but in wolves generally there's little exploration. When they find territory for themselves they rarely leave other than to hunt, else they risk the territory being stolen. Being in one place for long is very beneficial to them.
Over pretective of the envornmentMost things are, but it should be pointed out it's mostly got nothing to do with "environment" and more "it's my territory, stop fucking with it!" Seriously, would you like it if a stranger came into your home and smashed walls down, willingly prepared to kill you if you get in the way?
Over defensiveYes. This IS a trait of wolves that could be attributed to a werewolf. But then in the wild it's either defend yourself or die so, that's kinda obvious, and people are defensive too.
Very creativeFalse. Nothing about a werewolf makes creativity a likely trait, and wolves are rarely creative either - they're too busy trying to stay alive than worry about the fanciful way their pee marks a tree.
Underdeveloped and at the same time very enhansed sensesDo you have even the vaguest grasp at language? How can something be enhanced and underdeveloped at the same time? You're aware those are opposite meanings? If you mean to say senses will be underdeveloped in some aspects and enhanced in other aspects then yeah, but that's still not being underdeveloped and enhanced, it's just "different" but otherwise equal in use. I also fail to see how having altered senses means anything. It's very common for a normal person to have senses more acute than others, able to see more colours, smell things others can't, etc. Technically it's not them having enhanced senses though. You're only ever cognitively aware of a tiny portion of the sensory information you gain, some people are just more aware than others. It's not a sign of anything.
Great revflecties when it comes to foodReflexes? I'm not sure what it is you mean to say here. Please take (or pay attention to) English language lessons and try again.
Easy loss of temperHardly a sign of werewolves, since wolves rarely get angry. You do realise that it's very very rare for a wolf to be "angry". Killing is done in defense or food, not anger. They can feel it just like we can, but they're much less inclined to since they focus on survival where anger has no purpose. If anything, it's more a sign you're NOT a werewolf than being one.
Very tired most of the dayNot a sign of werewolfism at all since many people can be tired during the day due to being naturally nocturnal or having a nocturnal pattern, and there's many wolves that are diurnal or stay awake in the day. This is more evident in a pack where the necessity of night-hunting is lessened due to shared duties, freeing up their energies for daytime playing, grooming, and territory marking.
Hair grows in an odd pattern (nothing weird, just unusual)Odd, weird and unusual, all mean the same thing. They're synonyms. Wolves don't have odd hair patterns, just "where there's skin grow fur" at the simplest level. People grow fur in odd places all the time. It's called puberty.
The time to shave is unpredictableHow can a shave time be unpredictable? If you want to shave you're going to shave, if you don't want to/can't be arsed/haven't the time then you won't be shaving. That's fairly simple to predict, really.
Doen't go through much physical changes when in transformation. So the entire transformation of your body structure and alteration to every cell and bit of DNA in your entire being is not "much physical changes". Mmmkay, I think you need to learn what "much" means.
Some advice: get a brain and grow up.

Yes, I imagine generating the cellular energy equivalent to a nuclear bomb and simultaneously breaking all known laws of physics in the process is quite difficult. Although, if they can't transform, you realise that means they're not werewolves since the ability to transform is a requisite for the term, right?
Energy conversion would generate enough heat to melt a city, plus restructuring every cell in the body - Yeah, that would hurt, if possible.
Please go to a lab, such an ability would increase the potential of humanity several thousand fold and eradicate all disease and death. *waits for the excuse as to why you can't*
Like everything else? Wow, thanks, that was SO informative.

No, because if such a thing was real than studying it could prove immensely beneficial to the human race and thanks to our modern science none of their examinations or tests would ever require any actual harm to the werewolf, if anything it'd be rewarded to maintain its co-operation and its physical and mental health, as this aids their road to discovery.
Strangely sci-fi movies of secret labs and armed hunters isn't an accurate portayal of real-life procedures. If anything, werewolves would be given government protection.
I also find it odd how you just ignore Gilly's perfectly fine and logical question. Are you dumb, ignorant, or just don't have an answer as usual?

Why not? If werewolves are real and they're claiming to be werewolves or have family who are - why can't these werewolves just go to a lab and shift? Christ, they'd be given a gigantic grant and the best labs and all the scientists they could want ready to kiss their hairy behinds for that all-important claim to solid ego - a nobel prize, which studying a real werewolf would guarantee.
No, instead of just doing that or, hell, just getting a cheap webcam and using it - they provide excuses and whine and moan and bitch like the pathetic cretins they are. Funny, that.

I'm with Layira with this. A werewolf is a person who:
- has been permanently changed into a wolf.
- can change into a wolf at will or under certain conditions (e.g. full moon).
- can change into an anthropomorphic wolf at will or under certain conditions.
If a werewolf can't transform, they're not a werewolf since they fail to meet the main aspect of the word's definition.

I am sure that they don't all do it, but much of the older furnature did have those holes. It has largely been discontinued in recent years, from what I could find.
The myth most likely influenced this style of carpentry.
I looked for a picture to better substatiate this myth, but I could find none. I did find the myth in a number of different places. There was one website in paticular, http://www.werewolfpage.com/myths/global_legends.html

WOW know that took forever to go through and read. Okay for those that believe in them and say that others shouldn't be telling them that they are werewolves, why not? Would it not be better to let people start to understand this so that we become less frightened of the subject. I know that if it is real then scientist would love to probably put them under the knife. But for those of us who are truly interested is it such a bad thing to learn more about it from a primary source, instead of someone just making things up?
I am one of those people who wants to dedicate their lives to studying mythical creatures and understanding them. Also if werewolves are real i would love to in the future perhaps see if one would do the honours of making me one. But as i said that is only if they are real. Okay for those that believe in them and say that others shouldn't be telling them that they are werewolves, why not?
They come in here bullshitting us with no proof whatsoever, then get angry and childish when we tell them they are making it all up. When we demand proof they either say "I don't have a camera" or "how can a werewolf hold a camera?!" or something along those lines. Then they leave soon after that. Sorry but it gets a little old after being here for a while, and maybe some of the newer members who haven't seen a lot of it will tolerate it. But the older members generally will not. Why is it so bad? Because it's a flat out lie and they are pissing on our legs and telling us it's raining.
Would it not be better to let people start to understand this so that we become less frightened of the subject.
No one here is afraid of them. They are all just emo attention whores looking for people to worship them like a god so they gain a little self confidence. I don't find that anything to be feared. Even if werewolves were real I wouldn't be afraid of them. Seriously have you ever SEEN one? Ok then. Probably not something to be feared either.
I know that if it is real then scientist would love to probably put them under the knife.
Are you sure you read this thread? I'm sure this was covered at some point in this one, as it comes up in nearly every werewolf thread. Scientists would strive to keep the werething alive to study it. A werewolf could possess the key to curing many diseases. Why would a scientist want to kill his ticket to the Nobel Peace Prize? This isn't the movies.
But for those of us who are truly interested is it such a bad thing to learn more about it from a primary source, instead of someone just making things up?
They are not primary sources, they are lonely teens making shit up. How do I know this? A real werewolf would come online with proof, not expect everyone to accept such a load of bullshit with 0 proof.
I am one of those people who wants to dedicate their lives to studying mythical creatures and understanding them.
Good luck making a living out of that. Mythical creatures are mythical. They are made up. Hard to understand/study them. The closest you could get to that would be to study they stories they are in.

No, to prove a werewolf exists is easy if they do. If a person comes on here saying they're a werewolf the provision of evidence is remarkably easy with photos, webcams, or by just walking into a lab and shifting for all to see and study.
They have no valid excuses to not provide this evidence. It can be done with little or no money, it can be easy and simple, the minor discomforts are far outweighed by the benefits and you could continue to leave as normal of a life as any werewolf could.
Instead of providing proof they: whine, bitch, moan, throw a tantrum, beg for belief, provide a string of pathetic excuses, and eventually leave. Seems more an attention-whore trying to get an ego boost than somebody who is an actual werewolf and wants to let us know they are.

Of course, the werewolves would be in my area. (The gang that frequents near where I live is the Cryps, or however the hell you spell it.) I once came up with the perfect explanation on how the two gangs were made: a dispute over the ownership of a bean burrito.

Listen, Rose and Dnilian, I don't particularly care if you want to be so ignorant and naive, but promise me that if someone offers to turn you into a werewolf, you just have to come down to his cave, for the love of God don't go.
That's were the bad things are.
Or the good things if you're kinky enough. >_>

Trust me, as a former werewolf believer, there is no such thing. coming here thinking you'll get some respect from these guys will only make leave the forum. So either snap out of it, or leave the forum with whatever dignity you have left.

Hey now those are just the fakes.

Now this is one monster of a topic.
Anyways, if werewolves existed, (which I hold an agnostic view to, on that note) would they really be on here attempting to spread knowledge of their kind so that they can be completely destroyed by humanity's inevitable knee-jerk genocide?
If they exist/ed, and aren't extinct yet, they'd obviously be smart enough to have no contact with humans whatsoever. Unlike half the people who turned up here, who probably bought a $9.95 book of witchcraft with a big sparkly witch's hate on the cover, threatened to turn people into toads, then proclaimed themselves to be werewolves *insert dramatic praerie dog background music* and danced in a random field naked.
Well, that's my rant for the early AM :p

I actually think if werewolves do exist, they probably would come on here to see what people know about them and throw things off track and out of whack to keep their existence a mystery. Fuck what was that phrase, "It's best to hide in plain sight"? In any case coming onto sights and seeing what people are thinking is quite brilliant, think about it...if there are a lot of people who state they have seen werewolf sightings in a certain area, they know to stay away from that area so they don't get caught by people who are looking for them.

Very fair point, though excuse me for ranting, I just ran out of cigarettes. Again *rabblerabble*
It's quite similar to the false flag operations used by various governments... Consider the opinion some hold of the culprits behind 9/11, if you will. Government destroys a building, blames another nation which has been building tension with said government's nation over time, citizens go on a flag-waving frenzy and the government can then declare war.
It's almost sad just how easily werewolves (or even vampires, going with the mythological line, or E.Ts on a more scientific one, or even a human organization) could infiltrate a nation, a continent, the whole world, simply because people sit snug and secure in their homes, dismissing that which they don't understand. Then the government would of course deny the existence of said threat so as not to cause panic, therefore reinforcing the wool over the world's eyes.
