I was just wondering how many of you have just one night decided to make something new, or wound up making something by accident, and it tuned out quite well I might add?(no failed experiments please)

Here was what I wound up making, and now it's a favourite family dish.

I call It S.M.W.T aka Sweet Meat With Teeth.

The ingredients are as follows:

Ground beef.
Cayan pepper.
Seasoning salt
Malt or Cider Vinegar.
Gated Cheese, or parmesan (preferably extra strength).
Sugar.
Any red Salad dressing "california, catalina, russian" This is a really important ingredient.
Any type of noodles, depends on the cook's preferences
Green, Red, or yellow peppers(not the spicy type)
Mushrooms (cooks choice)
And any other vegetables on hand,(I suggest only two more different kinds if you choose to add to it use your best discretion,)
Cinnamon (optional, causes the finished product to have a candy like taste)
Chili powder (optional, for a more BBQ type of meal)
Vegetable oil (optional, cause the ground beef to separate a lot easier.
Garlic or garlic powder(optional, if you like garlic)

It's easy to cook, and it's easily tailored to your liking so I'll just go over how to cook it my way so you get an idea of the basics.

Use the stove top and either a deep pot or wide frying pan (big enough to cook a four to five person meal inside) add your vegetable oil if you choose to use it,( I also suggest you get out everything you need and chop up the vegetables before you start to cook or you'll be running around the kitchen like headless chicken) to continue put in the ground beef, add your seasoning, the cayan pepper, the vinegar, seasoning salt, sugar, and any of the optional seasoning shown above(be reminded the amount is up to you but I suggest you put in the same amount of sugar as Cayan pepper but don't be stingy)Once the meat is browned add your vegetables let them cook for about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how crunchy you want your vegetables, then add your noodles, along with a reasonable amount of water, now add your cheese of choice, let 5 more minutes pass then add your red salad dressing whatever it may be, and mix it into the meal, soon after that season it once more with your spices of choice, and then you're done once the noodles are to your liking the meal is ready to be eaten.

There it is, the effect of this meal is all in it's name it'll start off sweet, and the bite will sneak up shortly after, depending on how much of the Cayan pepper was added the bite will vary but one way or another you'll pay attention to what you're eating.
As for the measurements of the ingredients, not even I know that , just use common sense and it should turn out fine.

For those that try this enjoy.

Does anyone else have their own original Recipes'?

This one I just thought of:

You will need

16 oz cream cheese
16oz sour cream
1 package of shredded cedar cheese
1 package of taco sauce mix (I like old El Paso)
half a head of lettuce, shredded
2 tomatoes, diced
1 small can of black olives in halfs.

ok mix (a electric mixer is the best to use) the cream cheese and sour cream and taco sauce together until it's smooth. Pour in a round or squara flat dish that is a inch or so deep. Top in this order : cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives. If you don't like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives you can subsitute with what ever you like. It is a awesome deep with tortilla chips :)

Famous baked bean dip.

1 30 oz can of refried beans
1 8oz pk of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups of sour cream
1 2oz pk of taco seasoning
1 32 oz Shredded Four Cheese Mexican Style
1 2.25 Oz can of sliced black olives (optional)
2 cups diced tomatoes (optional)

Tortilla chips of choice

Preheat oven to 350*

Bring cream cheese to room temperature and then using a hand mixer, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and refried beans together. Once creamy then mix in the taco seasoning thoroughly.

Pour beany mixture into an 11x9 pan and top with cheese.

Place baking pan into the oven for 20 min or until the cheese is nice and melty gooey goodness.

Remove from oven and top with olives and tomatoes. Serve with bowl of tortilla chips on the side.

Rice a Roni Cassarole

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 small onion
2 boxes of rice a roni beef flavored
1 cup sour cream
1 8oz package shredded cheddar or colby cheese

Dice the onion and brown with the ground beef in a large skillet. Chop the ground beef up finely as you cook it. Once completely browned drain and set in a bowl to the side.

Cook the rice a roni in the skillet as directed but when you get to the stage where you add the water and seasoning packet, add the ground beef in as well. Cook until rice is done and the liquid is gone and then mix in 1 cup sour cream completely. Top with the cheese, cover and cook on simmer until the cheese is melted. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 min. this helps the cassarole to firm up.

Serve as you will. It doesn't look pretty once you begin serving but it's rather tasty. I've even substituted ramen noodles instead of rice a roni and just drained off the excess water off the noodles and used the seasoning packet mixed in with the sour cream to give it full flavor.

Smore Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
1 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 (8 Pack) of Graham Crackers
1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar (packed)
2 Large Eggs
2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
8 tablespoons Butter
8 tablespoons Butter Flavored Crisco
1 Bag Chocolate Chips
1 Bag Mini Marshmallows

Directions:

#1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

#2- Use a food processor to grind graham crackers to a consistency close to that of all purpose flour (Will be thicker and a little bit grainier.) In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, and processed graham crackers. Sit aside.

#3- In a large bowl blend together butter and Crisco. Next, add both brown and granulated sugars to the butter mixture and blend well. To this combination, add the eggs and vanilla extract and blend again until creamy.

#4- Slowly blend in the mixture of dry ingredients and then fold in chocolate chips. (The batter will appear slightly thicker than that of a regular chocolate chip cookie.)

#5- Drop dough balls a little larger than a teaspoon in size onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake each tray singly for 10 minutes. (Edges should appear golden but NOT dark brown.)

#6- Pull individual tray from the oven and press three mini marshmallows into each cookies center just enough that they stick. Place tray back into the oven for an additional 2 minutes. (Marshmallows should become puffy but not overly melted.)

#7- Remove tray from the oven once more and allow cookies to cool for at least 5-10 minutes before removing from trays. (Cookies are a little more fragile than a chocolate chip cookie.)

***Recipe Yields approximately 35-40 cookies depending upon size.

A smoothie is easy and does not require much.

I like mine with yogurt, but it is optional.

Any fruit would work (maybe except for tomatos). You will need a blender also.

Put into the blender some fruit (berries can be whole, anything else has to be chopped up), yogurt (but this is optional) and some sort of drink (milk, coffee creamer, fruit juice). Press blend. After everything starts to run smooth, pour some out into a cup. If you want it thiner, put in more liquid. If you want it thicker, put in more yogurt. If you can't taste the fruit, or if you just want more, put more in.

You can also add protein powder if you want to make it even more healthier or if you plan on working out. You can also add ice chunks or oatmeal mix to give it a different texture.

Cool recipes. I got one

Spiced cinnamon steak, it's the easiest thing to cook you get out your broiling pan(is that what it's called?) plop down a few slabs of steak (T-bone, serloin take your pick) You spice up one side with cayan pepper and seasoning salt stick it in the oven, then let it cook to your prefered texture (medium rare tastes the best to me)flip it over, and put shake some cinnamon onto it (don't be stingy) when the other side is cooked dig-in should be pretty tastey.

I'm not sure if this is SO original buutt...

I like to take the Ramen Noodles and cook them. DON'T add the flavor from the packet, but instead, add mac-n-cheese powder, or cheese, whatever you like, and add some salt and pepper. And YUM YUM.

I used to do this ALOT. =)

Ol` Zombarino`s salted Flank Steak Meal!!:D

1 Flank Steak
1 Russett Potato or 5 small Red Potoatos
1 small shaker of seasoned salt
1 Sourdough Hardroll
Butter (if desired)
Tin Foil
Baking pan
Oven preheated to 450 degrees.

Take your flank steak, shake on and rub in a generous portion of sesoned salt. Once salted, place on a piece of tin foill much larger than you need for the steak. Prepare you potato(s) by washing them and leaving them wet, then put a small slice in the skin. (cut larger potatos in half legnthwise). Place next to or around steak. Wrap tin foil over steak and potatos, completely sealing them. Put them in the oven in a cooking tray (to catch any juice that might spill) Cook till steak is well-done. Potatos will have cooked in the steaks juice (if they arent done, re-seal them in the foil with the juice and cook till done) Put steaks and potatos on plate. Put butter on potatos if desired. Serve with hard sourdough roll & drink of choice.
Enjoy!

I'm not much of a cook, but there are a few recipes I enjoy.

Tamale Pie

You need the following:
1.5 lbs meat (prefer lean ground beef or pulled BBQ pork, but anything from sausage to venison works)
~12 ounces Green Beans
~12 ounces Corn (kernel)
2 ~12 ounce cans pinto beans
2 ~12 ounce cans 'chili' beans (a misnomer, but it's what most label them)
2-3 tomatos or ~12 ounces canned tomato portions
4 ounces hot sauce or 6 ounces thick BBQ sauce
~24 ounces dry cornbread mix (I prefer homemade or Jiffy)
3 medium eggs
1 cup milk,
2-4 tablespoons ground black pepper,
An oven and a stove.
A large pot.
A deep, wide pan.
Optional : cayenne powder, paprika, ground mustard oregano, cilantro, cumin, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice to taste. Salt as well, if you're serving normal people. A tablespoon or less of the above if you use it.
Optional : 1 chopped bell pepper,
Alternative: skip the spices above, and just add two large packets of taco seasoning. Tastes artificial, but it's a lot easier than finding decent cilantro sometimes.

If using uncooked meat, drop it into a skillet or pot, grind up/slice up, and brown all of it. Drain any liquid from the beans if you're using canned beans. Add in the beans, green beans, corn, and tomatoes and mix. There should be just enough liquid to cover the stuff; if not, add small amounts until it is safe to heat. Flatten the stuff down, and bring to a very slow bubble.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the cornbread mix, milk, and eggs, and stir well.

Once the chili stew mix is bubbling, turn off the burner and quickly pour the chili stew into a large, deep pan. Level it out with a spatula. Before the chili stew cools, pour the cornbread mix evenly over the stew; it should cover the entire pan.

Bake according to the cornbread recipe, usually 15 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until the cornbread is golden brown.

Serve warm, topped with a mild salsa (and sour cream for those who enjoy dairy products). Provides 8-10 normal servings.

It's a fairly common thought recipe -- the southwestern equivalent of meatloaf, in many ways -- but it's great for getting new life out of leftovers, serves and keeps remarkably well, and can be adapted to pretty much any type of meat.

This one has been passed down in my family for a very long time, it originated in Italy with my I believe fifth great grandmother:

Mom's cheese cake (makes two)

you need:

8oz cream cheese
8oz sour cream
8oz cool whip
tspn vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
2 graham cracker pie crust
2 pints strawberries or blueberries (or you can subsitute with 2 cans of strawberry pie filling, raseberry pie filling etc. what ever fruit you like for topping)

mix sour cream, cream cheese, cool whip, sugar, vanilla together until smooth (electric mixer works best.) pour into pie crusts and add fruit topping. Refrigerate over night and serve the next day :)I hate that heavy cheese taste in cheese cake this cheese cake has a nice light taste
