Checking some of the books that I have about shapeshifters, there indeed are were-donkeys! It seems that not many people really wanted to shift into donkeys, so most of the times it was a curse that changed them into this form unwillingly. (Instead of doing the spell themselves for means of gaining power, as is sometimes common with werewolf lore.)
For instance, according to "Half Human, Half Animal" by Jamie Hall, donkey transformations in South America traditionally were ascribed to women who had committed sexual sins.
It seems that weredonkeys generally weren't nearly as violent as werewolves in the legends usually seemed to be. Wonder why? :D

Also men that committed murder, theivery or treason were supposedly turned into were donkeys.

I can’t say I’ve ever heard of weredonkeys until today, but how about weresheep!? (http://rascaduanok.blogspot .com/2007/04/violence-of-lambs.html)

You are such a dumbass, did you know that?? ;)
Anyway, I've heard of them in a few myths from other countries. I believe that every culture has their own "werewolf", whether it be the alligator men of Africa, or the werecheetahs of South America, to the werewolves of England and western Europe. But, I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to be a weredonkey. (other than someone like you! ;) )
But go ahead and research it, you'll fine something.

I couldn't help on that subject. I do wonder what kind of deformed beast it would make though.

I just know I'm gonna take heat for this, but I just saw a bunch of were-donkeys today. Yeah, really. Those damned Democrats live right down the road from me. :D Try not to take to offensively.

Umm I'm pretty sure there are no werealligators in Africa... seeing as there are no Alligators there.... Crocodile people on the other hand are common among many tribes ... and I'm sure there are no werecheetahs in South America....that's probably because the cheetah is from Africa...though there are wereleopards.....

There is a mention of a were-ass in the Bible.Really? Wow! Whereabouts?
Incidentally, in his multiplayer gaming world called Monster Horrorshow, JH Brennan referred to Dungeon Masters as ‘werewizards’. He also wrote an adventure for the gaming group called The Werewolf of Doomsbane — (SPOILER)
…except it turns out that one of your characters plays the werewolf!

In William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, the character Bottom has his head turned into that of a donkey by Oberon, king of the fairies.

I've heard Tony Blair was one. Problem is he didn't turn back. Want to know how I found out? He's a big ass.
