Seriously...how many threads do we need with this same question? Can't n00bs just scan all the threads for a previous one with the same question and just read that or get it going again? Believe or don't, I just wish some people would stop waisting space and stop creating new old threads.

I think some reasons that these threads keep popping up are because:

1- the old ones get deleted
2- the old ones are locked and the person might want to add something to the topic
3- the site is called WEREWOLF.com!

"werewolf.com . . . the site that gives false hopes"

MorganaFang

1- the old ones get deleted

Last I checked they were still alive and well. Still spewing retardation. Most are left open to be a troll playground. Or because people whined and actually wanted real conversation but cannot handle the opposition so they continue to whine that they are being flamed.

2- the old ones are locked and the person might want to add something to the topic

Actually if there are any that are indeed locked it is because a member was getting abusive in the thread its self or other places of the board and that thread was not helping any.

3- the site is called WEREWOLF.com!

True, though you need a 4- people do not read previous threads and or the rules of the board.

"werewolf.com . . . the site that gives false hopes"

It was initially a fan site for Whitewolf games, and chriz has used it as promotion for his own projects which have had some werewolf base.

And one add on... Oh waaaaahhh!! if you came on this site expecting something else. You stayed didn't you? What does that say?

Goth Girl

This is totally off topic, but Morgy, is your siggy two Kirbys. I never figured out what the hell it was but now I just realized it looks like that pink dude but two of them instead of one.

BOT: I even noticed some old thread are open still. And all you gotta do to find em is go to search and type in a simple word to find related threads. Sutch as werewolf, werewolves, or real werewolves or whatever. Personally I think that n00bs create new threads because they are lazy. :)

Personally I think that n00bs create new threads because they are lazy. :)

That's a fact.

And MorganaF: true. And people come on the site, give it a brief examine, then sign up. Then, because people everywhere are lazy, the people want to make a thread and get into the groove but don't look at old threads and posts. The first thing that probably pops in their minds is the simple question of "are there real werewolves", so they post it. They think, "well, this site is called werewolf.com, so my thread should be a hot topic." It is really quite sad that they get put down for their ignorance of not researching the topic before they post. They stay because once they sign up, it is really hard to un-sign up. Plus, there is the far off chance of making friends with other people on the site. That's a good reason to stay.

If people are looking for a site that wont freak out as much about werewolf posts the site thepacksden.com (http://www.thepacksden.com/thepackboard/index.php) is a good place to go. They are "more flexible" about what you say.

They stay because once they sign up, it is really hard to un-sign up. Plus, there is the far off chance of making friends with other people on the site. That's a good reason to stay.

In werewolf.com's defense and werelist.com are probably two of the longest running werewolf related websites still around from the late nineties and early two-thousands. Don't take that as fact :P but sites that use to "compete" with us are gone. And the majority of mods/ old curmudgeony members have been here from the beginning.

Anyway, the making friends thing does happen if you start off on a rocky foot. Most people plagued by the mods prior find others to click with and develop an attitude of "oh those mods, they're so silly in their wretchedly hateful demeanor." :D

On the actual topic, werewolves don't exist. Off topic, and replying to this post, the reason why I stayed is because the flaming was funny:p. Also, on that note, if I do get flamed myself then oh well, I had it coming (only time I'm actually optimistic, weird). Another thing is, why is Goth Girl always ignored? MorganaFang is your signature really two Kirbys (for people that don't know who Kirby is, he's that little pink ball like alien that has a star shapes spaceship and can inhale enormous amounts of stuff and then take on the element of whatever he sucked in, he also likes watermelons if I remember correctly)?

Werewolves are as real as witches and vampires, and all come in many forms. What is "real", and "what forms" are subjective as everyone has different views and realities.

1-Grammar and spelling

2-Werewolves/vampires/witches don't exist.

3-The term witch was labeled on true Wiccans because they believed in more than one god and made herb medicines, which the RC (Roman Catholics, see Goth Girl not every just generalizes) deemed evil and abominations, so by calling yourself a Wicca witch, it just adds to the fact of your ignorance. Also, you just insulted yourself.:p

4-Did I say grammar and spelling before, because if I did, I obviously didn't even stress it (all grammatical and spelling mistakes are in bold, not including punctuation marks).

Same here. I'm fourteen as well, and I read through the rules and guidelines and such that the mods set as soon as I joined. I mean, it's one thing when a person makes a mistake, but when they're just plain lazy....well, that's another story. And yes, I've made mistakes, everyone does. But if people don't clean up their act, then the mods intervene. I mean, come on people! There's rules for a reason! The mods aren't being mean(most of the time) when they say you did something wrong, they're trying to make this site better!

With that said, BOT:

If werewolves did exist, they would be smart enough to keep quiet because otherwise people would probably think they're insane and stick them into a mental institution.

And yes, datarion, they're real in movies, books, and other media....in actual life, I couldn't tell ya.

Check out this logic....

If you're new but not participating in n00bish behavior... you're not what people are talking about.

Funny enough you would probably be considered above it, however whining about that minuses gold stars. sad day.

By the by it is not actually flaming most of the time, people are getting put down but there usually is not some heinous poorly put together insults that sound just as n00bish as anything else.

Layira Aura
06-27-2007, 10:37 AM
Can't quite answer that question, UNO, but here's what I say.

I think it would be rather pointless for anyone to be a "werewolf hunter", because frankly, "werewolves" don't exist except in our imaginations and the occasional, terribly done, attempt-at-horror movie. :D Meh....I just think its pointless.

I keep the proof hidden from people that might want to stick the creature under the knife or from people that might just want to kill it, and the best way to do that is to get back-round checks on everyone that I might deem suspicious, which would be everyone.:D

Moon_Slave
