Everyone I've encountered seems to like pork ribs better than beef ribs, myself I totally love-love-love beef ribs and well liking pork meat hate pork ribs, what is your preference?
(The only thing I like about pork ribs is the extra cartilage the bones have on them sometimes.)

You should have made this a pole with options to see the overall opinion.
Myself I don’t have that much of a preference but if I had to chose I would chose the pork ribs because they seem to taste better on average. Overall it doesn’t really matter meat is meat once past the tongue taste doesn’t really matter.

Either or if I decide to have ribs. It doesnt matter to me much, although I think pork shrinks too much when it cooks. Im going to have BOTH on my barbecue this upcoming full moon!!

I don't know how to do a poll, I looked around cause I was going to put this as a poll but couldn't find how to. :(

Yea it probably would help if I mentioned how to do that. When you create the thread before you post it there is an option to create a pole with the thread all you have to do is check the box and select how many options that you want in the poll then when you continue it asks you to input the options before posting the thread. The option is under additional options check the box that says yes, post a poll with this thread. Unfortunately I don’t think you can add it after you have posted the thread hope this helps.

Ooh! A full moon barbique, sounds like a fun time!
That is a good idea. I usually spend my full moons (enjoying them as I do) staring at them like a drooling idiot and letting my mind and body roam. Sometimes I visit with Captain Morgan too ha-ha. 'Cept I've had to cut back seeing him, he's too tempting to become addicted to.

See I am the opposite, I think beef isn't tender enough so I love pork but then again I love food period, if it's edible I'll eat anything

*gasp* even insects, or such foods as stink heads (rotten fish heads dug up and prepared..)
I like to think if it's edible I'd eat it, but on some stuff I'm not sure, unless perhaps I was starving big time.

I've eaten insects before not too bad. To me, if I won't get sick from it, I'm gonna try it. You only live once I want to try everything thats out there. Course it might have to do with my dad being an Army man and deciding to toughen up me and my cousins by dropping us off in the middle of the woods for a week to learn to fend for ourselves. Believe me, you eat anything you can get!

Well, YEAH, that would tend to influence the taste buds and tummy!

regarding the beef vs pork debate...i am ambivalent. both have their merits. beef because the ribs are so much bigger and meatier, but pork has such a sweet taste that makes up for the lesser amount of meat. unless, of course, you manage to get one of those monster big boars for a pig roast with the king-size rotisserie spit. in which case the other advantage to pork ribs is some MOST EXCELLENT DUDE cracklin' to munch and crunch.

That sounds like one of my annual vacations! (except I dont eat the crawlies) I take a week off and vanish into the woods with a baisic tent, snooze bag, utensils, a good knife, firestarters and a rifle, and just live out there for 5 or 6 days. You learn a lot of ways to prep rabbit and squirrel!

Hamster- I hold a BBQ EVERY full moon, weather permitting. :D :D :D
