Not sure what forum this would go into, as this is my first post, but ive been reading alot of the material on a few of the forums, and it occured to me that there is a very vague differentiation between 'were' creatures and 'natural' creatures. By definition a 'were' creature is a man who turns into an animal of sorts.
Ive also come to associate 'werewolf' with humaniod beast who walks on hind legs and is the size of the Hulk from different circumstances on the forums.
If you were given the option, would you prefer to metamorph into a natural wolf or the incredible hulk wolfman ie 'werewolf?'

I'd go with the 9 ft. sized quadrepedal/bipedal meat grinder beast/human shift at will or full moon combo with a balanced blend of human intellect/abilities and animal instinct/abilities in one neat not-so-little fur covered package.

Given those choices, I'd rather be a natural wolf, but I've always pictured myself as only slightly bigger than I am now, no where near Hulk status.

I would rather be a natural wolf. Why? because a wolf is much more than a monster that is feared and hunted by most humans. A wolf is a symbol of the spirit, mystery, and intellegence. It it ferce toward its foes, yet loving toward its kin. The wolf is majestic, hypnotic, cunning, wise, strategic, ferce, spiritual, mysterious, loving, disiplinary, loyal and wild. So why not is what I ask you, why not?

I would rather be the natural for many different reasons. Some afformentioned by BlackRosePhantom but in addition, it would be much easier to conceal your true identity as an animal found in this world, there are alot of wolves you could bring under your command using your human intellect, and there is a certain grace to the wolf that is lacking in any bipedal 'werewolf.' Also, if possible, the ability to shapeshift on demand instead of by the full moon would be great.

Werewolf for me. I'd like to walk both worlds

If I had to choose I would prefer the larger werewolf and be able to shift at will not just during the appropriate moon phases. However if I could still be a natural wolf with all of my human intellect and that of a natural wolf but be just a bit bigger than average I would rather be a natural wolf shape shifter. If I had the choice I would like to be able to shift like in my dreams between human, werewolf regular wolf and a few other creatures.

I would so choose to be the Werewolf if I "could" Morph.

Anyways, I would like to turn into a wolf, only slightly larger than a normal wolf, but in my human form I'd look normal, maybe with sharper teeth and claws though...

Like BlackRosePhantom said previously, I'd would rather be a natural wolf because of what wolves represent. And also, being bi-pedal in wolf form, in my head, it doesn't seem right. Meh... :)

Natural wolf. I'd be an endangered species and people wouldn't kill me.
Well, not that fast. Some poacher WOULD kill me if he'd get the chance.

Natural wolf. I want to play fetch.
Is that wrong of me, that if I were given this awesome gift of getting to spend time as a wolf I would use it to chase a tennis ball into a lake?

I`d say it`s a toss up between a `The Howling` wolf ,or a `Wolfen` wolf (I just love the `glowing` eyes...).

I would definately have to choose the natural wolf. Werewolves have no self control, plus i've always favored speed over strength, so again the wolf wins.
The significance of wolves in mythology are also a drawing point for me, although from what i've read they are generally pictured as the destroyer rather than the spiritualist as some people have said.

I'm a shameless fan of the "Dog Soldiers" werewolves. Granted, they're still bipedal and I want the experience of running on 4 legs, but then I figure that's what the horse/Equicanis is for if I'm able to have 2 different animals into which I can 'shift.'

And let's not forget about the fluffy tail either. :D
The werewolves you saw in TES3: Bloodmoon were quite awesome in that way.

I'd go with the Ultimate Lycan, a werewolf that chooses when and where to bring about the change, as well as being able to control said state to the point that you could tell friend from foe. Also, the Ultimate Lycan's form is very powerful. It retains just enough humanity to increase the immense power that the wolf already has. Basicaly a perfect bond of man and wolf.
P.S.- I'm currently in the process of writing a story. It's called Silver Moon and I wil be posting it chapter by chapter in the Stories Section. If your interested here's the link: Silver Moon (http://werewolf.com/vb/showthread.php?t=170 39)

I would have to go with wolf.
I enjoy roaming the woods, so much that I have fell asleep in the grave yard of one before. I don't really like to much attention, but if I was a wolf I would probally be in that form most of the time just for the fact I wouldn't get bothered as much.
I have more reasons, but they are a little more complicated and can't word them right.
