Well OK people. I know that a lot of you don't like your vegetables. BUT I know a recipe that actually made me like Broccoli. (It can work on other green vegetables like asparagus) Now I won't eat it without. Ok, so take mayonnaise, like a few spoonfuls, and put it in a bowl. Then take soy sauce and put it it, just enough to make it a light-tan color. And for those of you that are clueless, just eat ur broccoli plain. :p

I have a recipe for an actual salad dressing that is something like that. Mayonaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and a little bit of water to make it pourable. The proportions are wrong, though, so your simpler version might work better.

Yeeah! If Im feelin lazy and go out and buy them, I get them from a little Mennonite-run store that make `em friggin HUGE! And cheap! I can get something like five pounds for nearly pocket chance, all hot and ready to go.

Also, another fast-food place, Bellybusters (aptly named :D ) makes broccoli thats battered and fried, with the cheese already inside!

Im gonna die of a heart attack before Im 35...:D
(I really dont eat from there often- maybe three times a year.)

Now that you mention cheese with brocolli, I've got a recipe for ya's. Try mixing cheeze whiz with a little milk and warming it up in the microwave. then make sure it's properly stirred and voila pour it over your broccolli. This is personally my favourite, makes my meal complete:D , give it a try

I've got a very old recipe that my mom often uses when making cheese sauce for her broccili and macaroni:
Ingregient portions will vary from the size of what you're making.
-Use real medium cheddar cheese (any where from 1/4 to 1/2 of depending on preferance)
-One cup of 2% milk
-Heaping tbsp of butter and flour
-Pinch of salt

Heat the butter on one side of the pot, while keeping the flour away from the clump of butter until it begins to melt. When the butter has melted, stir the flour and butter until thick and pastey.Keep On low heat.

Increase heat to medium and Add your one cup of milk to the flour mix and stir frequently. Wait until the milk starts boiling and becomes thicker.

Increase heat to medium high heat. Add your cheese (either in blocks or graded)

Do not take mix off of the burner when the cheese is melted, wait until it becomes creamy and thick, not stringy (otherwise when you put it in the fridge, it clumps on the bottom of the bowl)
I usually spend ten to 15 minutes waiting for the sauce to become creamy. Stir often.

It's a great sauce for any food, tasty too!
