ok I was just wondering how the first werecreature came about. Fixed.

Supposedly the first were-creature that I have found through my research was actually a were-bear cult that was depicted on cave paintings by Native Americans..... now if I can only remember the year :confused:

Referring to the only type at all likely to exist, the kind which are humans who shift magickally, they came about via a quite modified form of Astral projection.

Referring to the awesome mythical werewolf, we don't know. I read a thread yesterday where we argued a bunch over what was the first record, etc, and there is no clear answer.

That topic was about the first recorded werewolf, I think she means were-animals, not just werewolfs :shrug:

Either way it's pretty useless. Depictions of animal-human hybrids out date human history and therefore any record of them other than said depictions.

Oops... I seriously thought there was something about were-animals in there, and there are some refrences to help you... hmm... let's see... I thought there was a sort-of "history of animalism timeline" or something in these forums... Where is it?

I'm not sure there was one but if there is try typing timeline in the search forum of this page

I was about to say the same thing as Cheater388. So I am of no help I just thaught you needed to know that and cheater you are not alone I too almost did what you did.

What I've seen is basically the first werewolf was a guy who lived in the 1400s and he used magic to make himself that way... but I don't know if I believe that theory.
