Ok, ok. I've seen a couple of people talking about their "wereside" name. What exactly are they refering to?

A wereside is your phenotype/animal you feel connected to. Some therians think that weresides have their own names, just like humans do. So, when you hear someone say something about their wereside name, they are just refering to what they call their pheno.

Oh ok, so wereside is just another way of saying phenotype. Cool. Anyways, how do you know your wereside's name? Do you just make it up, or do you have to figure it out?

I made mine up and it fits me. It has to be something you like and it should fit you. Mine is Savage.

I just sat down and started throwing out a bunch of random letters that sounded good together. When I found something that "fit", I figured that was the name for my wereside. *shrugs*

I found mine by looking on a Magic: The Gathering package. I didn't meditate or fast or anything, just kind of randomly chose something. I like it, and I've used it for three or four years (or something like that), so I guess it suits me.

I picked my name for many reasons. The first is the most obvious. The Ghost Bat is MY species of bat I relate most closely too. The second is because everyone I know say I'm so white it's like I've never seen the sun...lol...hence ghost. And another is because in person I'm really quiet and tend to stay away from people. :shrug:
