Ok now I like Jack as much as the next person, but seeing characters like the Joker and Jake Torrence from The Shining show up and advocate voting for Hillary isn't really conducive to me wanting to vote for her.

Not to mention Jack seems kinda creepy outside of his fictional characters. I mean dating Lara Flynn Boyle?! Also he was once quoted as saying: "You only lie to two people in your life: your girlfriend and the police." Yeah there's a model citizen for you.

I've lost so much respect for him.

I especially think it was wrong of him to use a liscensed character that he has no right to use (The Joker) to push a political agenda. I hope DC comics sues Jack and Hilary's asses.

Wow. The video sucked, but I do think you people are over reacting a bit. Kaden, you can befriend a bitchy, know-it-all, 15 year old, 'gothic' atheist, yet when someone supports Hillary, they cross the line worthy of your disrespect (or at least close to it). So someone doesn't believe in the same canidate as you. Big deal. One of my freinds is a big time republican and Bush supporter, now I might think they're crazy for it, but that's never made me lose any respect for them. It's their choice. And yes it seems to go against common sense, but hey, at least they aren't fazed by the masses (especially here in Pittsburgh which is a BIG time Democratic city, we even haven't had a republican mayor since the Great Depression), and that's a quality of respect in my eyes. Give Jack Nickolson some respect for publicly voicing his opinion on whom he thinks should be the next president. Anyone should be given respect for being able to voice their opinion (as long as it isn't prejustic, meaning they think that way just because).

It's the way the ad was done. And yeah, I do lose respect for him because of it. I really, really, REALLY HATE Hilary Clinton. She scares the shit out of me. The thought of her running this country scares the shit out of me. It really does. And it's not just because I'm a republican. I do actually like some of the things I hear coming out of Obama's mouth but I really hate Hilary.

hahahaha I hate Hillary Clinton with the passion of a thousand exploding suns, but that ad was totally awesome and made of win.

Yeah, Jack Nicholson scares the FUCK out of me. The only thing more scary is Hillary. I wasn't going to vote for her in the first place, and this changes nothing.

Any reason as to why she scares you?

She doesn't look all that scary. She may not have the look of a harmless old lady, but I wouldn't want that quality in our president (less said person had the backbone to make up for it). OK, maybe way she speaks is a little scary 'cause of its stern athority to it, but really, my 8th grade reading teacher had a much more stern and athority voice, and Hilary's voice seems almost sincer in comparision (yes, my reading teacher was THAT scary, it was also that intense look in her eye that never wnet away). Also, I know things between Clinton & Obamma are starting to heat up, but that's only because neither of them are running for VP, only for President. Of course, whomever doesn't win the primaries, you can sure as hell bet that they'll be the VP if the other wins Presidency. So for you as a republican whom hates Clinton, don't even consider Obama 'cause she'll still end up in the whitehouse.

She's a power hungry bitch. She's manipulative and twists things around to get her way. She longs to be sucking from the power teet. She's an evil, evil woman!

She scares me because shes a power-grabbing nanny-state advocate who tries to pass shitty legislation, and she uses very sneaky underhanded tactics to achieve those goals.

Umm, no probably not.

Wow, that was a funny read. But can you give specific evidence supporting your claims? Also, I still think that my reading teacher is scarier. She might not have been an absolute "I hate every single one of you. The majority of you are too stupid to do anything and the one who aren't are just snooby know-it-alls", but she was close enough. The only worse teacher I had was one in 7th grade and that was because didn't know how to teach at all (and got fired after one year, lucky me I had her that year at my middle school -_-).

To elaborate, look up any of the scandals she's been involved in. she manages to skirt the law while being extremely unethical about it, while maintaining an incredibly nanny-state oriented legislation record.

I don't dislike Jack because he supported Clinton, that's his choice obviously. But I do know that watching that ad where clips of his characters, mostly complete and total insane jackasses, say campaign slogans to support her, is not the smartest thing to do. At least from my perspective.

I don't dislike Jack for supporting Clinton either. Hell one of my best friends is a Clintonite. But I agree with you LV that was a terrible way to go about doing it. And he could have at least brushed his hair before coming on at the end.

see if I was in a position were my lively hood depended on people (fans) liking me, I would keep my political beliefs to myself. What happens is you get people who love you simply because you share their belief in that particular political issue, or you get people who hate you for it. I'd rather be judged on how I treat people and what comes out of my mouth then to be judged on supporting someone else and what comes out of their mouth, I can control mine and believe in myself 100% as for the other person, I may agree on things they say and some things I may not agree but ultimatly what ever fuck up they make is going to affect me, take the whole Obama and that supporter guys case for instance
