In recent months I've found that I been hitting rock bottom when it comes to sleeping patterns. Few things wake me short of a solid whack to the head. Though I really could careless about that I think the deep sleeps are keeping me from dreaming or at least really entering a nice dream pattern. I prize me dreams and am looking for ways to see if I can increase my dreaming pattern to what it used to be.
Any Ideas
Thanks brethren ...
Endless days..

I found that if I think about something really hard before I fall asleep I dream about it, and remember it when I wake up.

Avoid caffiene and get some good sleep - you won't remember a dream if you're too tired. Also, stressful situations in real life can prevent you from remembering a dream.

I'm a heavy sleeper too, one time I nearly died in my sleep when my son set fire to the house- both smoke alarms were blaring away but I was to deep in sleep to notice, the only thing that seems to wake me is my kids talking directly at me when I'm sleeping, or if they cry. On this occassion my son woke me up and told me about the fire..anyway to get back onto track... I don't dream very often, but when I do I have a roll where several nights on the trot I'll dream, they are either dreams of my present situation, in this case my dreams are giving me a clue as to what will be happening in my immediate or general future- e.g I lost my door keys for 3 days and I couldn't find them despite ransacking the house. I knew they were in the house cos I had to let myself in with them. On the third night after misplacing my keys I dreamt I found them on my bedroom floor under something, something I'd picked up off the floor but when I woke I couldn't remember what it was that I'd picked up in my dream. The next morning while doing my house work I found my keys- they weren't in my bedroom, they were in the living room, but as my dream predicted, they were underneath something (a book). Or my dreams are in relation to the day I've had, its like my brain is filing away all the days crap using images as symbols. I've tried thinking really hard about something before I go to sleep, but I never dream of it. Last night for example I thought really hard about cats..I dreamt about wooden spoons!
