One dream I can never rid myself of is this:
Background note: I'm 5'4', long reddish-blonde hair, hazel eyes.

I'm running through a forest of aspen trees, barefoot, wearing a long, black woolen coat (think dead poet society coat). It's a winter night, snow is falling hard, but I can see because of a full moon shining through the clouds a bit. I can hear horses behind me, running, and the jingling of metal... spurs maybe. I run faster, faster, but the horses are getting closer. Suddenly I can see a mounted figure in the trees and I stop. It's a man in a cowboy hat, but I don't have time to study him. I hear another horse behind me, but before I have time to turn, I can feel a lasso fall around my neck and I'm pulled from my feet. I try to stand, but then they're everywhere, and I'm covered in rope. I try to rise from my knees, but the ropes are pulled tight, and I fall to my side, my back. I lie there for a moment, listening to them breathe, and I'm afraid. I am afraid as I have never feared Man before, and I began to shiver as one walks toward me, crunching through the heavy snow. I'm cold. It's melting through my coat. I'm starring up at the leafless aspen branches, and watching the snowflakes swirling down when he comes into my sphere of vision. He's average height, average build. He has beautiful blue eyes, but they're dead, like a fish, and hard as stone. He pulls a double barreled shotgun from the holster on his back and places it against my chest, just above and to the right of my heart. He smiles, perfect teeth, and I'm somehow more afraid. "They're silver this time, Hun."
He has a nebraska accent, but I know I'm not in Nebraska. I hear the gunshot, never feel it, and then I'm awake.
