has any one ever herd of a person turning into a wolf but never turning back?

There are many myths along those lines. One of the earliest werewolf myths, about a greek king named Lycaen or Lycaon, was one such. He was cursed into becoming a wolf for tricking a god (and killing his son and feeding said god his son), and was never turned back into a human.

the myth(greek) of Lycaon. He thought Zeus was a horrible god, and tried to trick him into eating human flesh.Zeus noticed this, and turned King Lycaon into a wolf.
